Chapter Fifty-Three: Blood Stained Sheets

"Hans! Elsa!" Anna knocked on the door loudly and threw the door open to find Hans and Elsa tangled together naked under the blankets. They flung up together and Elsa immediately covered herself with the blankets. "Oops." Anna said and covered her eyes. "Hans, you have visitors." She said quickly.

"Thank you." Hans mumbled and made sure Elsa stayed covered until Anna left. "Well that was embarrassing." He said groggily and rubbed his eyes awake.

"Tell me about it." She said and flung the blanket off of her body and hopped up out of bed. She dressed herself into her underwear and her black silk nightgown. "Come to my bedroom after you've gotten dressed so we can walk downstairs together." She said and went over to him and kissed him lightly.

"Elsa?" He said before she left the room. She turned to him and he was looking and pointing down at the white bed sheets on his bed. "They're stained."

"From what?" She asked and went to look at it herself. There was a puddle of dried blood staining the sheets where Elsa laid over night. "Oh no."

"The maids are sure going to talk about this." He said and ran a hand through his beautifully tousled auburn hair.

"The maids? Why would they?"

"The maids wash my sheets and blankets so they'll see the blood. They know you've been sleeping in here." He said and began to slip the sheet off of the bed. "Just be prepared to hear gossip, okay?" Hans said and smiled pathetically at her. "I love you and I'm sorry if you get grief for this." He said and kissed her passionately, he then wrapped his arms around her waist and hugged her tightly.

"I love you too." She smiled and walked happily out of his bedroom and down the hall to her own room only to find Alan sitting on her bed with a smug look. "Alan?" She said and stopped in the doorway.

"Good morning, Elsa. I came in here to look for you so I thought I'd wait for you. Please, please, come in." He said and smiled at her. She did as he said and shut the door but kept it opened just a crack. "I have a gift for you for your recent engagement."

"How do you know that I'm engaged?"

"Anna runs her mouth to anyone that will listen and I'm always intrigued to hear about the Ice Queen herself."

"Alan, exactly what do you want?" She said and stood hesitantly at the door.

"Well," He said and stood from the bed holding a small silver box that had a bow on it. "To give you this present, is all." He said and crossed the room to give her the box.

"Thank you." She mumbled and took the box slowly from him but didn't open it just yet.

"Well, come on now. Open it." He said and watched her intently.

She peeked up at him and opened the box carefully and opened it to a beautiful necklace that was a pale silver with blue jewels encrusted in to it.

"A necklace?" She asked and began to carefully pull it out of the box.

"Yes, as an engagement present for you." He smiled sincerely at her and took the small silver box.

"Thank you. It's beautiful." She smiled and unhooked the clasp and began to put it on.

"I thought it would suite you." He smiled and looked down at the necklace. "Where are you coming from in a nightgown?"

"Oh, um... I was just." She said and stumbled with words, trying to find a lie but decided to go with the truth. "I was with Hans. He's my fiancé, you knew that right?" She asked and moved around him to go grab an elegant dress for the visitors today.

"No, I didn't." He said and scratched his chin. "I'm going to go now. I have some things to take care of." He said and furrowed his eyebrows then stormed out of the bedroom.
