Elsa ran fast through the blizzard, trying to take herself away from all of the people she could hurt, all the people she loved and all of the kingdom that her parents trusted her to take care of. Elsa was ready to be queen herself but her powers weren't ready or never were prepared for when she would be queen. She was thrown into the fog of it all and with it being all so overwhelming she froze all of Arendelle and now all that was left to do was leave it all behind and let herself be alone, where she felt a sense of belonging.

As she ran farther she heard Hans voice come from behind her, making her hesitate to leave.

"Queen Elsa! You can't run from this!" He yelled to her through the high winds that were circling around them.

"Just take care of my sister!" She yelled back, it sounded so rehearsed.

"Your sister is dead, because of you." He yelled to her and he saw the winds around them stop suddenly and watched as Elsa collapsed onto the ground on her knees. Hans looked at her sympathetically for only a second then remembered what he went through all of this for. He pulled his sword out of its sheath and readied it above Elsa's body and swung with no intention or ability of pulling back.

Elsa jolted up in her bed before the sword had hit her body, her breathing was ragged and her heart was running a marathon in her chest. She opened her eyes and looked around the room seeing the whole room icy and frozen. She must've been so scared in her dream that she must've used her powers in the middle of the night.

Why did I have that dream? Elsa wondered to herself and looked around at the ice spikes that were coming from the corners and walls of her purple bedroom.

"Elsa?" Hans voice came from the outside of the door. "There's frost coming from underneath?" He whispered to himself. "Elsa!" He yelled, becoming frantic that something could have happened to her. He tried turning the doorknob but it was frozen in its place.

"I-I'm fine." Elsa said loud enough for him to hear.

"Can you unfreeze the door?" He asked soothingly, trying not worry or freak her out. He tried pushing up against the door, trying to force it open.

"I can try." She nodded and scrambled out of the bed. She stood near the door and held her hand firmly on the doorknob, attempting to thaw it. "Did it work?" She asked and Hans pushed the door forward and it opened with ease. He took a small step in and immediately his breath was visibly seen and he wrapped his arms around his body to keep his warmth.

"What happened?" He asked and tried taking a step towards her but ended up sliding around on the floor. "Let's get you out of here." He said and held out his hand towards Elsa.

"I can't touch you... I don't want to hurt you."

"You won't hurt me?" He said and watched as her expression deflated, she seemed so upset, maybe defeated. "Elsa, let's get you out of here and we'll talk about what happened." He said and grabbed her hands, not afraid of her or her powers, she would never hurt him or bring herself to hurt him.

They walked out of the room together and Hans still holding her hands, he pulled her into his bedroom and shut the door behind them.

"Is it too dark in here? I could light the fireplace." He suggested while she stood there near the edge of his bed.

"It's not that dark but if you want to light the fireplace, you can." She shrugged and took a seat on the edge of the bed.

"I'm going to light it to give us warmth, it's still kind of cold from what happened in your bedroom."

"It's cold because of me." She whispered to herself. "I didn't mean to freeze my bedroom. It happened while I was sleeping and I hate that I did it. I may have control of my powers while I'm conscious but when I'm asleep I could do anything." She said, becoming angry. "It's so frustrating."

"Elsa, please calm down." Hans said and placed a piece of firewood in the fireplace and lit a match. He tossed it in quickly and walked over to Elsa, he sat down beside her and laid his hand on her knee. "Getting angry doesn't help you, just try not to have these nightmares or the dream you had. Just calm down, okay?"

"Okay." She nodded and let out a small sigh. If only he knew what the dream was about, she thought in her head. She laid her head against his shoulder and tried calming down.
