Elsa shoved all her negative thoughts away, shoving them as far back as she could into her brain. She kissed Bastille's nose and said goodbye to him. She turned away and faced the beautiful crystal steps and noticed some on the railings were missing and she wondered what happened there but chose to ignore it and climb the steps all the way to the tall, crystal blue doors. She pushed the doors open to find the front room with the two sets of stairs leading up to the a door that lead upstairs and smiled at her memory of building this. She didn't really think when she was building the castle, she more so felt everything when she was building and constructing this beautiful castle with her magic.
She went upstairs into the room and gasped when she saw the makeshift bed Hans had made and Elsa's red blanket Anna had packed for her. The memories of talking to Hans all flowed back to her and she remembered how cold and uncaring he was then and then she reminded herself how much he's changed and how good he is to her.
She decided to leave that room and went into another room. A spare room that she never did anything with and her mind started shuffling through ideas that she could build. She happily went with a layout bench then a small coffee table. She held out her hand and barely had to concentrate for her magic to start working. Small ice spikes started coming out of the floors and she formed them into the layout couch, making sure to get the small dip in the middle. She backed up a little to do the coffee table and watched as the same ice spikes came up then formed into four legs of a coffee table then the top started to form from the outer part to the inside.
"There we go." Elsa smiled and sat down in her chair, beginning to sit back and relax. She felt weak from making a simple layout chair and a coffee table, she was happy she didn't decide to make anything else. She cleared her mind, trying not to thinking negatively about what was happening back in Arendelle and began to drift off into a light nap until she heard a loud crash and the sound of the ice shattering downstairs, then Hans' father's voice boomed down in the main room.
Elsa shot up from her chair and felt dizzy, her vision blurred and became black from head rush but she ran forward anyway. She needed to put as much distance between her and Henry as she could.
"Oh, Elsa." Henry sung and Elsa's vision came back, she was facing the balcony that faced the mountain. She turned to look for another place to go, he could easily push her off of the balcony. "Darling!" He yelled and Elsa panicked, wanting to cry but would give away her place. "Laila! Check the upstairs for me. I'll check the base floor." He yelled and Elsa heard his footsteps going downstairs but Laila's started to come up.
"Elsa," Laila said and Elsa began forming a large ice wall in front of her but only got half as high as she wanted before she felt like she could pass out. "Come on out, Elsa. We don't want to hurt you."
"No," Elsa whispered, panicking and looking all around she tried to push herself up towards to ceiling with an ice tower. It was safer than being on the ground with a three foot wall to protect her. She got high enough and stopped, leaning back against the wall to calm down and to gain back her strength. She could tell she was going to need it.
From Elsa's ice tower she could see Laila through the glass wall, Henry decided to give her a knife for a weapon. She was slowly climbing the stairs and kept looking for Elsa until she reached the spare room. Her eyes widened when she saw the wall then looked up to the top of the tower, seeing Elsa cowering up there.
"There you are. Come on down." Laila said but Elsa didn't say anything. What happened to Hans? Elsa thought to herself and closed her eyes. She was beginning to shiver from the baby and from her being weak she could no longer fight and couldn't stay in a castle made of ice for the baby to be safe.
"Please, let me go. I'm going to freeze to death and so will the baby." Elsa said and hoped Laila would understand as an expecting mother. "Please. Please understand. Mother to mother."
"Oh, please. I'm not pregnant. We made that up so I could get back into the castle. After all, who would kick out a pregnant woman into a storm?" Laila teased her and Elsa's stomach churned, feeling like she was going to throw up she closed her eyes again and tried to focus her energy into being warm. "Henry! She's up here." Laila yelled and Henry came dashing upstairs, laughing when he saw Elsa up on her tower.
"Come on down for us, Elsa. We won't hurt you if you just come down." Henry said but Elsa knew he was lying. The only reason this was happening was to hurt Elsa. "Maybe this will motivate you. I have a crossbow. I will shoot if you do not come down." Henry said. "I will give you ten minutes and your ten minutes starts now." He said and Laila looked over to him, glaring at him and whispering that they needed to hurry the process before Hans got here. "Actually, you need to get down now. I'm an impatient man."
"I- I can't. My magic is weak, I'm weak and I'm freezing without my magic. The baby will die if I can't regain my strength. Please, let me go." Elsa said and looked down at Henry, shivering from the cold. "I can't stay in this castle. Please, the baby will die." Elsa said and tried not to cry, crying would only make it worse.
"Come down now, Elsa. You can get down without your magic." Henry said and Elsa examined both Henry and Laila. Henry was holding a crossbow but also had a sword into the sheath at his side. Laila was holding a small but sharp knife that could only hurt someone if you cut the right places, she also had rope and a larger white cloth.
"I can't, honestly. If I use my magic, I'll freeze to death." She said and Henry grew more impatient by the second then snapped. A different snap than before, he was now full blown out of his right mind. Before he had some sense of mind but all that was good was gone in a matter of seconds.
"Get down now, Elsa!" He shouted and came closer, holding his crossbow at her and this time Elsa knew he wouldn't hesitate so all she could do was go.
"I'm coming." She whispered and started melting down the ice tower, feeling her body become weaker and weaker until she fell from the tower but not too far to the floor.
She laid there limp and weak, almost unconscious, and Henry snatched her up and nodded at Laila to come over. She quickly began tying Elsa's hands together then bound her hands to the wall. Elsa sat there with her head against the wall, barely able to see or hear anything until she heard the last thing she wanted to hear.
"Cut the inside of her palms. That's the central area for her magic. Maybe, if we're lucky, she'll bleed out since she's weak already." Henry said and stayed near to make sure Laila cut her hands. She picked up each hand, shaking from fear and never intended on killing Elsa but she went on with it. Elsa wasn't able to see, or really hear, but she felt every second of pain after she cut her hands and for a few minutes she felt her blood practically gushing until she passed out.
A/N: I'm completely teasing, but how mad would you guys be if I left you hanging right here?? I won't do that, it's torture. :)
