Elsa lay fast asleep in her bed, Anna beside her asleep too and Hans still was absent as far as they knew. Anna was dreaming about Kristoff while Elsa was dreaming about their future child.
Elsa was looking down into her daughter's beautiful green eyes, emerald green like Hans'. Her little bit of hair was a bright platinum blonde like Elsa's and she looked like her too. Freckles went across her nose and her lips were a light pink, matching the tone to her cheeks. She must've been only a few months old.
"Hi, Grace." Hans said and Elsa looked up to see him. He was staring down at 'Grace' and leaned down, kissing the top of her little head. "She's beautiful." He said and Elsa nodded. "Elsa," He said. "Elsa." He said again, then repeated himself three or four times over.
Elsa jolted out of her sleep. She sat up and saw a dark figure in front of her, since her eyes were blurred she could hardly make out the person until he said her name again.
"Elsa," Hans said and Anna stirred in her sleep. "It's me." He whispered.
"Hans?" Elsa asked quietly then rage filled inside of her, before they both knew it her fist collided with his nose. "What the hell are you doing here?" She seethed, somehow not waking Anna until Hans screamed.
"Elsa!" He shouted. He was holding onto his nose tightly, seeing his crimson blood cover his hand. "Dammit, Elsa." He said and ran into the bathroom, grabbing a towel to clean up his face.
"What's going on?" Anna mumbled and looked up at Elsa.
"Hans came back." Elsa said, now that she punched him she wasn't so angry at him. "I punched him in the nose." She said and clambered out of bed to see if he was okay. "Hans." She asked and laid a hand on his arm. His head snapped over to her, he was covering his nose with a blood stained towel.
"What was that for?" He asked and she got mad all over again.
"What do you mean what was that for?! You left me!" She shouted and wanted to punch him square in the nose again. "I'm going back to bed."
"Why is Anna in our bed?" He asked.
"Because she kept me company while you weren't there for me."
"I haven't even been gone a single day. Elsa, I came back and I am not arguing with you." He said softly. He wasn't mad at her for anything. He had a long enough day for himself, the last thing he wanted to do was fight with Elsa. "We'll talk in the morning, okay?" He asked and held her chin, kissing her lightly on the lips and practically all of her anger dissipated at his touch.
"I want to know why you left in the morning."
"We'll talk about it all in the morning. Okay?" He asked and she nodded, going back into her bed after he left the bedroom.
Hans walked out of the bedroom and down to their old bedroom, seeing it look exactly how they left it. He locked the door, sitting down at the desk and pulled out a small container of a purple colored drink in a small test tube. He rolled it around on the palm of his hand.
"This is what almost killed Elsa." He whispered into the air, not even having it go anywhere or to anyone. It was just hard for him to say.
Hans knew now that it was his father who attempted Elsa's life. The man in the downtown of Arendelle, the seller of the faulty drug, said it was his father and Laila who he saw when he bought the poison. He said that it was for his enemy, that they needed to be taken down so the dealer thought why not? It's more money in his pocket.
Hans thought up a few plans to take his father down. He could take the poison and slip it into his drink but that'd be too obvious. He could take Elsa out to the vacation house to keep her safe and kill him in his sleep.
He just needed to take things slow. Things were looking good for Elsa finally. She had her powers tip top under control, she was having a child and she was married to Hans, happily living in the castle with him, Anna, Kristoff and their children. Plus, Halloween was coming up fast and that was Elsa's favorite holiday next to Thanksgiving. Hans decided to keep this poison a secret from everyone, even Elsa, to keep her safe. He was going to let back on his search so Elsa could be happy and Hans' father wouldn't suspect a thing.
