Hans and Elsa sat alone in the dining room together, eating small peanut butter and jam sandwiches with small glasses of wine.

"What did Alan say that made you so angry? I've never seen you be so violent." Elsa asked, taking a small sip of her wine.

"My brothers, especially Alan, know how to bring out the worst in me. He said that he's fond of you and he said..." He trailed off, not sure how Elsa would react to what Alan had said about her. "Um, he said he wants alone time with you and then said the things he'd do to you..."

Elsa choked on her wine and sat the glass down, clearing her throat and looked up at Hans.

"That's sick." She said and felt disturbed and disgusted at what Alan had said and thought of her.

"That's why I snapped... Because I care about you and he was degrading you by saying that. It's disgusting."

"I never really approve of violence but thank you for defending me, I appreciate that very much." She smiled at him and appreciated his handsome features. His auburn hair was tousled and split in the center, his green eyes sparkled and looked full of life when he looked at Elsa, his freckles were more visible with the lighting and when he smiled it made Elsa slightly blush. She felt so blessed to have such a beautiful and kind person care for her. He seemed to feel the same way about her.

"You don't deserve to be talked about like that. Especially by Alan."

"When should I have him go back to the Southern Isles?" She asked and contemplated all the ideas in her head. "I think I should have him go back after Anna's welcoming ball for the baby. Your family is coming anyway so he can go back with them."

"I haven't seen my parents since I left the Southern Isles." He said and became uncomfortable with them meeting Elsa, they barely knew him as a person. "I think you'll like my mother. She's quiet but welcoming, she's a beautiful woman too... But my father... He's a bit overbearing and very disturbingly upfront."

"I'm sure they're lovely. I can't wait to meet them. Do you think all of your brothers come?"

"I hope not. I'll be a complete disaster if all of them come. Alan is already stirring things up with you, I don't need my brothers constant badgering about how I like you." He sighed and rolled his eyes, remembering all of the bad memories and torture he went through as a child. He was the runt of them all, even to his father, his mother just went with what his father wanted. "Let's talk about a happier subject." He smiled up at her, bearing a smile and his beautiful green eyes. Elsa blushed slightly and felt butterflies floating happily around in her stomach.

After they finished up lunch and were full Hans had to return to work and Elsa had to get the invites ready for Anna's welcoming ball. It couldn't be sent out the day of the birth or some kingdoms might not receive the letters until two weeks after them being sent.

"I'll see you later, right?" Hans asked Elsa, standing at the door of her library. He was waiting for her to say goodbye and for him to go down to the shipyards.

"Of course you will." She smiled and looked up at him, he was so tall but Elsa was tall herself for a female. He grabbed her hands in his, holding them at their sides. He lean down to her, kissed her forehead softly and dropped her hands. "Goodbye, Hans." She whispered into his chest and hugged him tightly, somewhat snuggling into his chest. She let go of him and turned back into her library and walked over to the desk, plopping down into the leather chair.

"Where to start?" Elsa asked herself quietly then looked over at a small stack of parchment papers. "Peter!" Elsa yelled out nicely. Moments later one of the servants that was stationed outside of the door came in. "Could you find Anna for me?" She asked and gave him a small smile. "Thank you so much."

"It's no problem at all, your Majesty." He said and bowed at the door. He walked off down the hallway to find Anna and Kristoff snuggling and laying down in bed together. "Princess Anna?" He knocked lightly on Anna's bedroom door and heard rummaging around in the room then Kristoff opened the door. "Queen Elsa has requested to see Princess Anna in her library, sir."

"Oh, okay." Kristoff nodded and looked back at Anna. "Elsa needs you in her library." He said and she gave a small, weak smile and nodded. "Please tell Elsa she'll be down in a little bit."

"Yes, I will. Thank you, sir." He bowed his head and began to walk back to Elsa. Kristoff shut the door behind him and crawled back into bed with Anna.

"I feel so weak." She said hoarsely. "My feet and ankles hurt horribly."

"You haven't been out of bed all day. Are you sure you'll be okay to walk down to the library?" He asked and laid a hand on her belly, feeling the baby move around then kick at his hand.

"I'll be fine, Elsa needs me. Besides, I haven't seen her all day and I miss her." She smiled and struggled to sit up in bed. "Come on, Anna, just get up. It can't be that hard." She mumbled under her breathe to herself and stood from the bed. She kissed Kristoff goodbye then went to go down to visit Elsa. "Will you walk down with me?" Anna asked Kristoff at their bedroom door.

"I was hoping you would ask." He smirked and hopped out of bed, running over to his wife's side. He pulled her up softly and made sure she was balanced well enough before they left the room. They began walking down to the library, the whole way Kristoff's arm was comfortably and lovingly wrapped around her waist. "Anna?" He said while they were nearing the library, she poked her head up and looked at him in response. "I love you so much and I'm so happy we're together. I can't wait for our little baby to be born and to start a family with you. You're a wonderful person, wife and you'll be a wonderful mother, like your mother was." He said and squeezed her side slightly, bringing her even closer to him and hugged her.

"That was the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me." She smiled and hugged him back. "I love you too. I can't wait to have our little guy or girl here with us. It's starting a new chapter for us." She smiled and laid a hand on her belly.

"I guess I'm dropping you off here." Kristoff said and they stood near the library door.

"I guess so." Anna smiled and nodded in agreement. "I'll see you later." She said and leaned up on her tiptoes. To make it easier for her Kristoff leaned down to her level and kissed her, wrapping his arms around her waist. They pulled away from each other and went their separate ways, Anna to go help Elsa and Kristoff down to the shipyard to see how much Hans has progressed since he came to Arendelle.
