Hans was rushing around throughout the castle, trying to find everyone for the dinner Hans and Elsa were planning to tell everyone of their engagement. Elsa was sound asleep upstairs in his bedroom while she didn't know he was gathering everyone for the dinner.

"Hello, mother." Hans said and bowed his head to his mother. "Hello, father." He said and bowed to his father.

"Hello, sweetheart." Susan said and kissed both of his cheeks making Hans tense up slightly at her touch. It was still too much, too alien and he still hurt from the past.

"Queen Elsa would like to have all of our family gather together for dinner tonight in the dining hall as a welcoming dinner." Hans said and smiled briefly at his mother then looked to his father. "Could you gather all of the guys up for dinner? Elsa will be waking up soon so when she's ready we can start dinner."

"You've grown awfully close to this girl haven't you?" Susan asked and smiled a little. "Don't fall in love with her, she'll only hurt you and find a suitor to marry."

"No, mother, I don't actually think she'd do that and I'm not falling in love with her." He said and thought to himself, I'm already in love with her. "Could you gather everyone though? I'm going to go wake Elsa." Hans said and looked at his father.

"Sure, I can do that." He nodded, trying to not have much of conversation, he was never one to talk. His parents turned away and separated to go gather everyone for Elsa's dinner party.

Hans went back up into his bedroom to see Elsa still laying in bed sound asleep. He walked over to the side of his bed and sat down beside Elsa, softly rubbing her arm to wake her up.

"Elsa," He whispered and kissed her forehead lightly. "It's time to wake up." He said and she began to move around slowly and her eyes fluttered open to him looking at her. "Good evening, sleeping beauty." He said and kissed her lips softly but stayed down near her level but not quite kissing her.

"Hi." She said and stretched her arms out widely and wrapped her arms around his waist, hugging him tightly then let go and laid back onto her back.

"It's time to go to dinner. I have everyone in the dining hall so we could fit everyone instead of the dining room."

"I'm not even ready. I'm still in my dress from earlier." She said and looked down at her yellow sundress. "Give me ten minutes and I'll be ready." She said and sprung up out of bed, crossing the room to the door and looked back to Hans. "I love you." She smiled and blew him a small kiss, accidentally blowing small ice crystals directly at him, hitting him lightly on the face like rain.

"Elsa." Hans said and wiped his face off of the ice crystals and gave her a small smile.

"I'm sorry!" She said and couldn't hold back a smile. "I didn't know that would happen."

"At least I know you don't blow kisses to everyone." He said and she smiled at him. "But I love you too."

She quickly left the room and Hans walked over to his ceiling to floor length mirror and adjusted his white overcoat, straightened his royal blue tie and fixed his belt. He looked very similar to the outfit he wore during the day of Elsa's coronation years ago.

"Okay, Hans," He muttered to himself and looked into the mirror. "You're going to be telling your family, Laila, that you're getting married to a girl. Not even a girl," He muttered. "She's a queen with ice powers and sure you've just met her again but you love her." He said and smiled to himself. He really did love Elsa with every little bit of him. "What do I even say?!" Hans asked himself and ran a hand through his soft hair and let out a frustrated sigh. "Hm," He said and looked up at ceiling for inspiration. "I- We would like to tell you guys something- No, that's too casual." He said and contemplated different ideas. "Elsa and I would like to tell you- No, still too casual. Elsa and I would like to announce our recent engagement. There! That works." He said and let out a sigh of relief and looked back into the mirror. "This just needs to be perfect for Elsa." He said and smiled a little to himself and heard a small knock on the door. "Hi, Elsa. You're done quickly." He said before he turned around.

"Uh, no, sir." A small maid's voice squeaked from across the room. Hans looked over to see the short, plump woman standing nervously in his doorway. "Queen Elsa is already downstairs waiting for you, sir. She said that your family would like to start the dinner as soon as you're able to." She said and bowed her head to him.

"Thank you." He said, dismissing her politely. He quickly gathered himself together and left his bedroom, locking his bedroom after he left.

A little after he started walking down through the halls a heavy hand landed against his shoulder.

"Hey, little brother." A deep voice came from beside him. Hans looked over to see his older brother Desmond, he was twenty-eight years old and had shaggy strawberry blonde hair and chocolate brown eyes. He was twins with Jasper but they were fraternal twins and Jasper had a sandy brown colored hair and blue eyes. "I'm joking about the little brother thing." He said and gave him a small smile.

"I know, I'm just a little frustrated, that's all." Hans said and shrugged. "How's Sebastian?" Hans asked. Sebastian was Desmond's five-year old child, his mother had passed away when he was two from a plague that was passing through everyone.

"He's good. He's with Elsa right now... She's really good with kids." Desmond said and smiled a little. "She's actually really nice, despite her scary ice powers, she'd be a perfect wife for someone."

"Funny you say that." Hans said and smiled at him. "We're engaged."

"What?!" Desmond grinned and slapped his arm hard. "Congrats! She's such a catch."

"But you can't say anything to anyone! We're telling everyone tonight." Hans smiled and looked down at his feet.

"I've never seen you this happy."

"I've never been this happy, ever."

"Well, I'm happy that you're happy. She'll make a beautiful bride." He smiled at Hans and they arrived at the door to the dining hall.

Hans sucked in a small breath before he entered, trying to ready himself for the long dinner and his family's reactions because a part of him knew they wouldn't respond how Desmond did.
