The next morning after their wedding Hans and Elsa began packing their bags for their surprise honeymoon. While Elsa was packing Anna kept her company by talking and talking about what all they could do on a vacation away from the castle. Elsa just wanted to be with Hans the whole time.
"I'm actually done packing, and Hans' suitcase is already packed into the carriage." Elsa said to Anna and stood at the front castle doors.
"How long will you be gone?" Anna asked and hugged her big sister goodbye. She deserved this break from the castle's drama.
"It should only be a few days." Elsa smiled and they stepped outside, seeing Hans standing near the carriage driver talking. He must have been giving directions to the secret location. "I'll miss you and see you soon. Give the twins kisses for me and Hans." Elsa said and tossed her suitcase into the trunk of the carriage and got into the carriage, waiting for Hans. "Goodbye, Anna. I love you." Elsa said out the window and smiled at her not-so-little sister.
"See you later, alligator!" Anna smiled.
Hans climbed into their carriage and smiled at Elsa briefly then closed the curtains on the windows, Elsa gave him a weird look in return.
"I don't want you to see where we're going until we're there." He smiled and kissed Elsa on her forehead. "I'm so excited to just spend time with us. It'll be so much fun." He grinned and Elsa nodded slowly, then yawned. It was so early and the ride there was going to be a long one so Elsa decided to take a nap.
"Will you wake me when we get there?" She asked and grabbed the small blanket.
"Of course." He smiled, adjusting the blanket to cover her whole body. "Sweet dreams." He said and Elsa leaned against the side of the carriage and drifted into a nice, deep sleep she didn't get last night.

"Elsa. Psst, Elsa." Hans whispered, and for Elsa it brought her back to the many nights Anna would wake her up as a child to build snowmen with her.
"Anna," Elsa muttered, still asleep. "Go back to sleep."
"It's Hans." Hans said and shook her arm a little. She opened her eyes slowly and then rubbed them, the sun shined in brightly through the windows and she felt a soft cushion under her bum. It couldn't be the carriage, she thought. "Morning, sunshine." Hans was kneeling in front of her smiling, waiting for her to see the surroundings.
"Where are we?" She asked once she opened her eyes.
They sat in the living room of a house. The ceilings were tall, nearby was a kitchen and the front doors sat behind the couch she was laying on. Hans must've carried her here to continue sleeping.
"I took the liberty of putting your clothes into the closet upstairs, I took the dresser so you could have the closet."
"Where are we though?"
"It's a vacation home, well, our honeymoon home. I bought it for us if we ever need to get away from the castle." He smiled and stood Elsa up. "No one knows we have it though."
"It's like our own little getaway." She smiled and looked at all the intricate detailing that went into the woodwork. There was beautiful white carpet laid out in the living room and light brown color tile was through the kitchen. Elsa could finally see a set of stairs that probably lead to the bedroom. "I had this renovated for us. Could I give you a tour?"
"I'd love one." She smiled.
"Okay." He nodded, grinning like a child. "Please follow me, Mrs Westerguard." He said and they walked out of the house, standing in the woods was the small house. It looked much larger from inside. "Here's the front." He said and Elsa noticed all the little flowers and plants that were planted in flower boxes and in the flower beds. The house was a beautiful Tudor style, Elsa's favorite. "If you'll please follow me inside." He smiled and took Elsa's arm in his own. They entered into the front living room that had a larger couch then a smaller one near it, with a beautiful fireplace across from the larger couch. To the right of the living room opened up into the kitchen and dining room area that had many windows that let in plenty of sunlight. They headed back into the living room and Elsa noticed a door was shut.
"What's in there?" She asked.
"There's nothing really in that room, just a broom closet but I do have a surprise." He smiled and tugged Elsa upstairs before she could ask anymore questions. They arrived into a hallway and across the entrance was a tall door that lead into their bedroom, it was calm and a pretty basic bedroom. It had a king size bed, a closet and a long dresser lined the wall with the big window. They stepped back into the hallway to see the bathroom, a full bathroom with a shower, sink, toilet and bath tub.
"So where's that surprise?" She asked when they arrived back to the hallway.
"It's actually hidden," He smiled and brought her into the bedroom. "Open up the closet, please."
"Okay." She nodded slowly and opened up her closet, seeing all of her clothes fill it.
"Move your clothes aside, there's a trap door in the bottom that practically blends in." He smiled and watched as the trap door came into view. He opened it up and down below came a dim lighting and he nodded towards the door. "There's a ladder, go ahead and go down." He smiled and she hesitantly stepped down into the open space and climbed down the ladder, entering into a large underground room. The room had hardwood floors, and bookshelves from the ceiling to the floor all the way around. In the center of the room sat a few chairs and a long couch to read on.
"Hans." She smiled and looked up to see him coming down. Candles covered the floor towards the middle and completely lit up the room, like Elsa's smile. "It's beautiful."
"I had it built just for you. It used to be a stowaway for slaves."
"Well, it's beautiful," She smiled, looking all around the room. "I hope the slaves escaped okay." She said and Hans laughed quietly then went behind her, hugging her from behind.
"You would think about the slaves and if they were okay." He smiled and hugged Elsa tightly to him.
