"Time to wake up, sleepy head." Elsa whispered. She was laying on top of Hans' chest and was really only a few inches from his face.
"Mmm." He mumbled and moved around, flipping Elsa onto her back and flopped a pillow over his face. "I don't wanna get up."
"Then I guess I'm going to the meeting without you. I already let you sleep in, I'm already dressed for the day." She said and got up out of bed and stood near him.
"Fiiiiine. I'm getting up." He said and threw the pillow he had over his face at Elsa, making her stumble back a little.
"Good." She smiled, tossing the pillow back onto her bed. "We still have a little time, I just wanted you to get up now." She smirked and he groaned while getting out of bed.
"Evil woman." He muttered and picked out a nice, clean new outfit that he thought would make a good impression on the council. "I don't know how the council will react when they see me. They know about the whole thing that happened when you froze everything... That's a horrible description of what happened, I know."
"I honestly don't care what they think. They don't even have control over who I marry." She shrugged and picked out a black pair of heels. "Besides, they only said that I have to marry someone. They'd be happy if married a stranger." Elsa said and rolled her eyes at the stupidity of the council.
"I'm just ready to get this over with." Hans mumbled and started getting dressed into his new outfit. "Who will all be there?"
"All of the council should be there but I never know. Some people might have things to do." She said and looked down at her nails, smiling at her handy work with painting her nails a light blue. Blue really suited her and her very fair skin tone.
"Queen Elsa," Kai knocked at the door and entered momentarily after. He looked in to see Hans fixing up his dress shirt and Elsa sitting down on her bed, adjusting her heels around her feet. "Prince Hans." Kai nodded to Hans then looked to Elsa. "The council is expecting you, your Majesty."
"We'll be down in a few minutes, thank you. Could you grab them drinks or maybe a few appetizers to hold them over?"
"We've already gotten it taken care of, your Majesty." He smiled at her.
"Thank you so much." She smiled at him.
"Is Prince Hans attending as well?" Kai asked and Hans looked over at him.
"Kai, you can talk to me." Hans mumbled and looked down to fix his boots. "I won't bite." He laughed and Kai laughed awkwardly.
"Yes, sir." Kai smiled and it faded quickly. "Will you be attending?"
"Yes, I'm Elsa's fiancé."
"Of course, but I wasn't sure if you were attending. My apologies."
"Kai!" Hans said and walked over to him, patting him on the back in a friendly way. "Please, don't be so formal. You can loosen up with me, and don't apologize for anything!"
"Yes, sir- I mean, yes." Kai nodded and smiled over at Elsa. She smiled back but could see how uncomfortable Kai was without being so formal or calling him 'sir'.
"Thank you, Kai." Elsa said and stood up from the bed, crossing the room to Hans and had her arm through his. "We shouldn't keep them waiting any longer."
"Right." He smiled and they all left the room, Elsa shutting the door behind them and walked down to the council room hand in hand.
A/N:
I know this is a short chapter but the only reason it's a short chapter is because the council meeting chapter will be long and I figured I'd break this off before the actual meeting :) thanks for reading and sticking this far into my story! I appreciate it so much, you have no idea :)
