Chapter 62
The next morning...
The family van is all packed up and ready to go. My parents and I are so excited to get away for a few days. We typically go to New York City once a year since it's become like a second home away from home in our eyes. Not to mention that there's so much to do and the food is superb. "So dad, where exactly are we staying?", I ask him as we pull out of the driveway. With cheerful glee, he responds with "Why the Hyatt of course!" I clap my hands together and squeal, causing him to laugh. My mom simply smirks at the both of us. Don't be a fun buster mom. Gosh.
The drive is four hours more or less, which isn't too bad. We cab probably get by with only having to stop at a rest area once, hopefully. Unfortunately in my family we have weak and uncontrollable bladders.
Two hours later...
We're halfway there and taking a few minutes to pee and stretch. We're close to the New York border. Yay! After we do our business, we get back in the car and continue on our merry way to New York City.
Another two hours later...
We pull into the rather luxurious entryway of the Hyatt. Now I love Hyatt hotels don't get me wrong, but I honestly don't know how my dad can afford this hotel for not just one, but FOUR nights. He either had a lot of airport runs (He's a limo driver) these past couple of weeks or he magically pulled the money out of his ass. Who knows, maybe he did both.
My dad pays for the room and we get settled in. The room is so fancy that it's taking my breath away. The size of it blows my mind as does its features. Its features include soft robes hanging in the closet, water beds, a seventy inch plasma screen TV, and amazingly fast WiFi. I plop onto my bed, put my hands behind my head, kick off my shoes, and sigh contently. I can definitely get used to this.
