Chapter 31

Two days later...

It's officially the last day of summer vacation, which is bumming me out a bit. I know I said before that I'm looking forward to school, but I really am going to miss having so much free time because during the school year, it's very seldom that I get any. That lack of free time leads to severe anxiety, panic attacks, and more horrible problems like those.

Anyways, I'm spending my last day of summer vacation at the beach. It was an impulsive decision on both my parents and I, but I feel that it's a great one. Why waste the day being couch potatoes when we can go to a place that we all can enjoy. I plan on swimming, shopping, going to the arcade, and getting a Henna tattoo done. I don't get to have Henna done on me very often so I always be sure to do it whenever the chance arises. We go to Hampton Beach by the way, which is about an hour and half away from where I live. Hampton Beach is my favorite beach. I went once at the beginning of the summer and now I'm ending my summer by doing the same.

 At the beach...

It's only a little after noon so I have until seven before we have to leave to get home at a decent time. I have to be up at six fifteen tomorrow morning. UGHHHH!!! I haven't missed those early morning wake ups, that's for sure. My dad went off to get some food himself since my mom and I aren't hungry yet. My mom and I are going to all of the places doing all of the things mentioned in order to be able to do them all today. We'll work in a meal somewhere later on today.

Down on the beach itself...

It's the perfect temperature, not too hot or too cold, just right. I usually swim for about two hours. I even brought my buggie board in case I'm able to catch some good waves. I think I'll be able to from the looks of it. The wave action is good right now. It's like the universe even understands that I want to have a great last day of summer vacation. Thank you universe for understanding. I appreciate it a ton.

At the arcade...

I play skee ball until I can't possibly play anymore. Though when I get tired of skee ball, I switch over to basketball, which is another game/sport I'm really good at. I feel like I've said that before but oh well. When I'm done, I cash in my tickets and get a receipt stating that I have two thousand points. Since I have two thousand points, I can get myself that giant Stewie Griffin doll that I was eyeing earlier. YAS!!!!

Suppertime...

We grab some cheeseburgers and fries to go so I can have enough time to get a Henna tattoo as well as a little bit of shopping before we leave. I have an hour and a half left thankfully.

An hour and a half later...

Sadly it's time to make the somewhat lengthy trek home. I close my eyes to take a nap because let's face it, I'm going to need all of the sleep that I can get to be well rested for the adventure that it the first day of school tomorrow, sophomore year addition that is.
