Chapter 51
The next day...
I'm currently at my first after school detention with Principal Neon. I just got here five minutes ago and I'm bored to death. I'm working on Spanish and History homework to pass the time. Principal Neon's gaze pierces into my soul for the entire hour but I manage to survive so that's all that matters. I glare Principal Neon on my way out.
My mom picks me up from detention and brings me home. Though she willingly makes small talk with me, I can tell that she's pissed at me. I don't blame her. Although I don't regret standing up to Brittany in the slightest, I really am stunned as to how I became so angry so quick the other day. When I got that angry, I was a little afraid of myself. Now that I know I'm capable of feeling that much anger, anything is possible. I just hope that I don't get angry easily. No one likes someone who gets angry about every little thing.
That evening...
I hide out in my room to avoid another lengthy lecture today. Besides, I have a ton of homework to keep me busy anyway. I finished my Spanish and History homework, I still have some to finish up in the rest of my subjects. I hate nights like tonight with all my heart. For the most part, I'm left alone. I only get one short lecture from my mom and a couple of questions from my dad. Not too bad. :D
After my homework is done...
I log online on my various accounts such as Youtube, Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, and Instagram. On Facebook, I have a ton of messages to respond to from Derek, Becky, and several internet friends. After I respond to all of the messages, I open up my group chat with Becky and Derek:
Me: Hey guys! I survived my first day of office detention.
Derek: I'm glad to hear that. <3
Becky: Me too <3 Was Principal Neon dreadful as always?
Me: Absolutely. He kept staring at me the entire time and gave me the most intense glare when I left his office.
Derek: That sounds like him. He's such a pain in the ass.
Me: Agreed.
Becky: Agreed as well.
Me: So what are you guys up to?
Derek: Missing your beautiful face Myra <3
Becky: You guys are so cute. I wish my boyfriend would say things like that to me.
Me: *Blushes* Thank you Derek <3
Derek: Anytime :)
Me: It's getting late so I better get to bed. I suggest that you guys do so too. Good night. <3
Becky: Love you Myra <3
Me: I love you both <3 See you both tomorrow.
*Logs off*
A loud yawn escapes from my mouth. I shut down my laptop and jump into bed. Good night world. It's time for me to get my much need beauty sleep.
