Chapter 19

The next day... the last day of school...

Yesterday flew by so fast and now it's not only the last day of school, but it's also the last of my freshman year. After today, I'm officially going to be classified as a sophomore. That's insane yo! Yes I often say "yo" to look cool. Don't judge me, just kidding. I judge myself all day, everyday. You've go to love having low self esteem, NOT.

Anyways, just like yesterday, I plan on goofing off with Becky and Derek up until Spanish and then spend the last two periods with Clark again in the library. It's going to be a fun and chill day. In addition to hanging out, I get my report card two weeks earlier than those who skipped school today. Yay!

Lunch time...

The first half of the day went really well. Derek even began to open up about why he's been out of it lately, the reason being that he has feelings for this girl who happens to like someone else. I've been there before and it's not a pleasant experience. Derek's slowly getting over her, but as you probably already know, feelings don't just disappear over night, especially if you're deeply in love with the person. Derek's a strong guy though. I know that he'll back to himself and happy again soon enough. As for Becky, she recently got a boyfriend last month. I meant to mention it earlier, but it slipped my mind. His name is Andre. Andre's on the football team, super muscular, at least 6'2 in height, and Italian. They make a cute couple. I'm happy that Becky and him are dating. That girl deserves a decent relationship.

Spanish class and onward...

The rest of my day is thankfully spent with Clark. We sit through Spanish, get our grades for Spanish and our last two classes, permission from those said teachers to go to the library. and head to the library. I jump right on a computer and Clark does the same next to me. His hand grazes mine gently and heat immediately rushes to my face. Clark notices it and smiles. "God you're cute Myra." The pink blush tint turns dark red. "You're not so bad yourself Clark." He leans in close, his lips just inches from my face, teasing me ever so playfully. "Myra, being mine." I gasp in shock. "What'd you just say Clark?" He smirks. "You heard me Myra. So what do you say?" I close the distance between our lips, kissing him gently and pull away. "I say yes." Clark lights up in the most adorable way and kisses me again, though this time he takes the lead. This kiss is more passionate, but not too heated because we're in the school library. Needless to say, the rest of the day was incredible. :)
