#112 You tell him he needs to be stern with your children

Your POV

"Daddy! Can I have a cookie? Please?" Your 4 year old asked Niall. "No Aaliyah, only after dinner" Niall told her. "Please daddy?" She asked again. "No Aaliyah" he said , stern in his voice.
"But daddy! I want a cookie" she said beginning to cry. "Please daddy?" She cried.
Niall gave in to her cows, giving her the cookie.
She suddenly stopped crying and ran up to her room happily with her cookie as Niall continued to cook dinner.

I walked in with our 11 month old daughter on my hip . I placed Isabelle into her high chair. I leant against the corner of the kitchen worktop as I watched Niall cook.

"You need to be more stern with them" I told him. He sighed. "I know, I just can't though" He admitted .
"Why not? You can't keep giving them whatever they want when they want" I told him.
"It's just whenever I say no to them, they'll cry and look up at me with their big blue eyes and I just melt and give in." He admitted .i smiled .
"You're just too soft with them" I giggled.
"What can I say? They're my two little princesses!" He said.
