#113 Your daughter runs on stage

Your POV

Me, Niall and our 1 and a half year old daughter , Isabelle, had been staying at Niall's Los Angeles home for the past few months. We wanted to get away from London for a while. Also, Niall had some promo to do here in America.
He has a performance and interview today and afterwards we are going to the airport to go and visit Niall family in Ireland and after we will return home to England.

"So Niall, the album hasn't been released yet, is there any more singles? Release date?" The interview asked. "Well, I haven't decided what songs I want as singles yet and I can't tell you the release date because I don't know myself. But most of the songs are recorded and finished just need to sort the track list, a name for the album and cover" Niall explained.
"So One Direction brought out albums every few months, it was a very quick speed, you'd make an album, tour it and repeat. So are you taking things slower this time to be more relaxed and less hectic or to spend more time with your family as I've heard you have a baby daughter" The interviewed said.
"Kind of, I'm mainly doing it slowly so that I know the album will be completely ready and so I will be satisfied with the music on there. But I'm also doing it slowly for one of those reasons. Because I have a 1 year old daughter, named Isabelle, and she was born in the beginning of the break so she doesn't know what it's like for me to be away. So I want to take things slow so I'm not away from her and if I do tour I will probably do small segments . So have a week or 2 break every few weeks so I get to spend that quality time with Isabelle and my wife" He explained and the interviewer nodded.

"If your daughter was born earlier or if One Direction where still making music and touring together as she was born , what do you think things would be like" the interviewer asked.
"To be honest, I probably wouldn't have enjoyed it if I had Isabelle while we were touring and making music. It's not the boys or the fans because I absolutely adore them. But, when I did tour with One Direction I missed y/n so much, and I think It would be even worse missing her and my daughter. So thinking about them constantly would make me enjoy it less" he explained .
"When your daughter is older or any other children you may have, are you planning on being the embarrassing dad, so making dad joke or when they get a boyfriend or girlfriend show baby photos" the interviewer asked and Niall smiled.
"I probably would make dad jokes, I mean I can just steal Harry's old jokes, they're bad enough to be dad jokes" He said laughing as the audience and interviewer laughed at his statement. "I'm joking , but I don't know about the baby pictures because Isabelle isn't having a boyfriend until I'm dead, which is quite a while away I hope" He said. "Are you an over protective dad then?" The interviewer asked.
"I'd like to think I'm not, I like to think I'm laid but yeah I'm just a little over protective" Niall said.

Niall's POV

"Slow hands, like sweat dripping down our dirty laundry" I sang.
"No" I began to sing the next line but dm felt something hit my leg so I stopped singing. Luckily the crowd was singing though.
I looked down and saw Isabelle staring up at me with her big blue eyes. I smiled down at her and picked her up resting her on my hip as I continued to sing, swaying to the music with her.

I was sat down on a stool on stage for a q and A. I had Isabelle on my lap because she didn't want to go backstage.

"What's the best thing about being a dad?" A fan asked. "Umm, everything really. But just seeing her grow up. I don't like that she's growing up quickly but I enjoy seeing her grow" I explained to the fan.
