Your POV

Niall and I had come on holiday with Niall's mum, his dad and Greg.
We are staying in a villa in Spain.

In the villa there is 3 bedrooms, Maura and Bobby have one, Greg has one and I am sharing with Niall.

We were all sat downstairs in the main area waiting for Niall so that we can go to the beach.
"I've never known anyone to take as long as him" Bobby said and I agreed.
"Even y/n and I don't take that long! And we're girls" Maura said and I chuckled.
"NIALL! Hurry up!" Greg yelled up the stairs.

"Let's go to the be-each lets go get away!" He sang loudly as he ran downstairs .
We all stood up and left the villa .

The beach was around a 15 minute walk away.
I was wearing a light blue dress and underneath I had my pink bikini. Niall had his blue swimming shorts on with a plain white t shirt.

Niall and I were holding hands as we walked. We were ahead of Maura, Bobby and Greg.

"Niall,y/n" Maura said.
Niall and I turned our heads to look at her and she took a picture of us.
"Mummm" Niall whined like a child.
"Oh, shut it Niall, its cute" she said .

We arrived at the beach which was more or less empty. We laid our towels down in the sand.
I took my dress off and placed it on my towel.
Bobby and Greg laid down on their towels sun bathing and Maura sat up reading her book.

"Y/n, race you to the sea!" Niall said.
"Bring it on!" I said as we began running.
Niall was a lot faster than me and won. We walked further into the sea so it was up to our waist.

Niall swiftly pushed me slightly, resulting in me falling into the water and going under. I came back up and squinted my eyes at him, pretending to be mad.

"Aww princess, sorry, I didn't mean to make you mad" he said hugging me. I hugged him back . I slowly unwrapped my arms from him and pushed him, so he fell into the water.

"Oh it's on!" Niall yelled as he began splashing me with water. I did the same to him and we ended up soaked.

Greg came in the sea with us with my rubber ring.

"Can I have the ring?" I asked and he nodded giving it to me.
"This water is fucking freezing!" Greg said and I laughed.
"I'm going sitting with my mum and dad for a bit"Niall said and I nodded.

Niall's POV

I sat down in between my mum and dad in the towel. My dad was lied down, he had fallen asleep and my mum was sat up reading a book.

I looked over at y/n. She was sat in the ring. Greg tipped her and she fell into the water. I laughed to myself.

"You love her , don't you?" My mum said. I turned my head and looked at her.
"Huh?" I asked.
"You love her, don't you" she repeated.
I smiled and blushed slightly.
"It's nothing to be embarrassed about Nialler! I know that you're both made for each other, you and her are for keep" she said.
"How do you know?" I asked
"You're my son Niall, of course I know who's perfect for you. I've seen the way you both look at each other! You two might still be young but you are definitely in love. And I'm not going to lie, you both make it quite obvious, you never leave her alone" she said.
I smiled.

"Mum?" I said after a while of silence.
She looked at me. "Yes, love?" She asked.
"Do you think it's um, a little too early for me to propose to her? I mean like we've been together for 3 years, I know we might still be young but I'm positive I want to spend the rest of my life with her, I couldn't imagine my life without her" I said.
My mum smiled.
"It's not to early for anything! When do you want to propose to her?" She asked.
"I was thinking, I could buy the ring later and maybe propose tonight when we go on the beach walk" I said and my mum nodded.

I had told my dad and Greg my plans so they were in on it too. My dad came with me to get the ring from a jewellers shop which was close by.

We were walking along the beach. I was holding y/n's hand and my family was slightly behind because they knew what was going to happen.

Y/n was wearing a pastel pink knee length dress with white sandals. I was wearing black jeans with a white t shirt and converse

I glanced back at my family and they were smiling.

"Y/n" I said and she looked at me.
She turned to face me and I got down on one knee. I opened the ring box and she gasped, putting her hands over her mouth as tears escaped her eyes.

My mum, dad and Greg were watching and taking photos.

"Y/n, we've been together for nearly 4 years now, I know we are still young and not many things are stable in my crazy life. But, I couldn't have anyone better to be with me through all this. You've seen me at my worst and my best . I don't really know what the future holds but I definitely want you to be a part of it. I love you so much
y/n and will you do the honours of becoming Mrs Horan, will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?" I said smiling.
Y/n nodded eagerly, not trusting her voice.

I slid the ring on her finger and stood up engulfing her in a hug . "I love you so so much" she whispered. "I love you too" I whispered.
I leaned down and kissed her lips, I didn't care about my family being there.
We pulled away and I smiled at her.
We walked back towards my family.
