#178 Your daughter goes on Britains Got Talent

Today mine and Niall's eldest child, 12 year old Aaliyah , is auditioning for Britains Got Talent. She is an amazing singer and she wants to see how far she can get in a competition.

Harry agreed to look after our other 2 children, 7 year old Ethan and 3 year old Isabelle.

We walked backstage with Aaliyah. We stood with Ant and Dec as Aaliyah was next on stage.
"You excited?" Ant asked her.
"Yes, but I'm very nervous" she said.
"Don't be" Dec said.
"You'll do great princess!" Niall told her and she smiled.

Aaliyah walked on stage and stood in front of the microphone.
Simon smiled at her since he knew her from all the times she goes to the recording studio with Niall.

"Hello, how are you" David asked.
"I'm good, thank you" she said politely.
"So what's your name?" David asked.
"My name is Aaliyah Horan" she answered.
"How old are you Aaliyah?" Amanda asked.
"I'm 12" she said.
"Where are you from?" Ananda asks.
"I've lived in London my whole life but my parents are Irish" she answered.

"Okay so what are you doing for us today, Aaliyah?" Simon asked.
"I'm going to be singing Make You Feel My Live by Adele" she said.

The audience clapped and stood up.
Including the judges.

"Aaliyah! You have an amazing voice! If you wanted to you could definitely go far in the music business! It's a yes from me!" Alisha said.
"Thank you" Aaliyah said.
"It's a yes from me!" David said and Aaliyah smiled.
"It's a yes from me!" Amanda said.

"It's a yes from me! You definitely take after your dad in every way! You have an amazing voice! Also, is your dad here?" Simon said.
"He's here!" Ant said pulling Niall so the crowd could see him.
"I need to talk to you in a minute" Simon said and Niall nodded.
"I had no idea he was your dad!" David said.

Aaliyah came of stage and ran into Nialls arms .
"I'm so proud of you princess!" He said and kissed her cheek.
"We told you you'd do amazing!" I said.

Simon came to us and we sat down opposite him on some sofas. Aaliyah was in between Niall and I  and Simon was opposite us.

"So what do you need to talk about?" Niall asked. He had his arm on the back of the sofa, around Aaliyah.
"I was wondering, well you have an amazing voice Aaliyah, and if you wanted you would go far in the music business and I was wondering do you want a record deal? Obviously you're very young so your schedule would not be hectic and you'd go into the studio on the weekends or like 3 days a week" Simon explained.
"So do you want to sign a record deal?" He asked.
Aaliyah's eyes widened and she nodded eagerly.
Niall and I smiled at her.
"Thank you so much!" She said.
