#182 Request// giving your child the talk

Your POV

Our daughter, Rose, was upstairs in her bedroom and Liam and I were downstairs on the sofa watching some re runs of a to programme.

"Faith" Liam said. "Yeah?" I also looking at him.
"Do you know because Rose is 14 now, don't you think we need to give her the talk?" He asked.
"What? Like the sex talk?" I asked.
"Well yeah, she's already had the puberty talk so" Liam said sounding awkward.

"Rose, come her please!" Liam shouted up to her.
"Coming dad!" She yelled .
She came downstairs and appeared in the living room doorway.
"What do you need me for?" She asked looking between us.

"Sit down, love" Liam said.
She sat down on the sofa across from us looking confused.

"Right, so you're 14 now, and you're going to want to do things, specifically things with boys" Liam said.
"Oh god! Mum! Dad! No!" Rose yelled making a disgusted face.
"What? We're jut educating you!" Liam said . "You need to know about this!" I said.
"I don't need to be educated on that! I have health class! What do you think that's for?" She said .

"Well sorry, sorry! We never had that at school!" Liam said putting his hands up in surrender.
"That's cos you're old dad!" Rose teased.
Liam playfully glared at our daughter and shook his head.

"You're in for it now!" He said and began tickling her.
"D..dad stop!" She said between laughs.
I just shook my head at the two of them while laughing.
