#127 The boys babysit your daughter backstage while Niall does an interview

Niall's POV

"Don't let her out of your sight, she can't walks but she crawls everywhere" I said as I passed my 11 month old daughter, Aaliyah, to Harry. Liam, Louis and Harry had agreed to look after her backstage while I did a solo interview. We had already done the interview together and they had done their solo interviews.

"So what plans do you have for your baby's first birthday?" James Corden asked.
"Y/n and I haven't planned anything yet. We will probably just have a little family get together or maybe go back to remand for a week or so" I answered .
"Where is Aaliyah? Is she home with
Y/n?" He asked. I shook my head.
"Y/n's at work so Aaliyah came with me. She is backstage with Harry, Liam and Louis" I told him. "Oh really?" He asked and I nodded. "Don't know if I'll get her back though, she might be wearing some crazy outfit from Harry" I laughed.

"Is this her?" James asked poring to the floor. I looked behind me at the doors where you come on stage and saw her crawling. I walked over to her and picked her up.
"Boys! Is this you're idea of babysitting?" I said and the audience laughed.

Harry came out. "Sorry, I was having a biscuit , I can take her back now" he said. "No way! She staying with me" I said jokingly. She was staying with me though. Harry left the stage and I went and sat back down with her on my lap.
She was really fussy.
"1 second" I said to James who nodded.

"Harry! Bring me her bottle!" I said. Harry ran on stage and gave me her bottle of warm baby milk. "Thanks" I said and began feeding her since she was feeling lazy and didn't want to hold the bottle herself.

"So the break? Why did it happen? I understand that you're back as a band but what caused the hiatus?"He asked.
"Well the main reason we had the break wasn't because of touring constantly. It was because y/n was pregnant with Aaliyah and Louis and Liam already had their sons so we thought, Harry included, let's have a break focus on families for a while .harry didn't get chance to see his family a lot because they live in the north and we all live in London so he went and lived with his mum for a while. It was me and Liam that decided we need a break.. I wanted to be there and support y/n through the pregnancy which seemed horrible for her. I honestly feel sorry for pregnant women. And I wanted to be there when the baby was born and be there for the milestones. And because we was on break there was no chance of me missing the birth where as if we wasn't on break we would most likely of been touring which means I would've probably missed the birth" I explained.

"I'm guessing y/n had a difficult pregnancy?"he said and I nodded.
"Yeah, she was always being sick even past the first trimester. Second trimester she was still sick in the morning and around food and third trimester she was sick every so often, mainly in mornings. The baby constantly kicked. She always had really weird cravings at stupid times which meant I would have to go to the supermarket at midnight and buy weird food. And then labour, her contractions were horrible, she broke my hand and the baby just didn't want to come out. So she was in labour for 19 hours and it took us about two hours to see her eyes because she just slept." I explained.
"God, that sound horrible" he said and I nodded. "But I got this little princess so going buying weird foods at 2am and a broken hand was worth it" I said.
