#157 He misses the birth because he is on tour (his pov)

Niall's POV

I was currently in Manchester on tour wth the boys. We were going to Ireland next week for the Ireland part of the tour.

I had been told a few hours ago that my wife, y/n had gone into labour and I booked the next flight home which was the next morning.

I was in the main part of the tour bus with the boys when my phone vibrated.
It was my mum.

M-Maura n-Niall

M-she's here! And she looks so much like you! X
M-*photo of baby*
N-she's beautiful, how's y/n?
M-she's doing well, the baby is too and y/n is only naming her once you get here

A tear dropped down my cheek, as I thought about how I had missed the birth of my first child, my first daughter.

"Hey mate? What's up?" Harry asked rubbing my back.
I just shook my head and let a few more tears escape.
"I missed it" I mumbled.
Louis and Liam looked at me with sad looks on their faces, they both had a child themselves so they knew how important this was to me.
"How can I every forgive myself? I missed the birth of my first child and I wasn't there for y/n during the process, it was my mum with her instead" I cried.
Liam pulled me into a hug.
"It isn't you're fault you missed it" he said.
"And just think, you're a dad now, you have a daughter and you will be meeting her soon" Louis spoke up and I smiled.

"Show is a photo then! Your mum must have sent you one" Harry said.
I smiled and got my phone out showing the boys the few photos my mum had sent me.
"Aw she's so cute! She looks like you" Liam commented and I smiled going on to twitter to tweet the news.

@NiallOfficial: After 9 months of waiting, she's here, my beautiful baby girl is here. She doesn't have a name yet since I sadly missed the birth and will only be meeting her tomorrow but as soon as she has a name I'll tell you! My mum had sent me photos and she looks adorable but I'm sure she's even more cuter in person! Words can't describe how happy I am!
