#145 Day out with your toddler

Niall's POV

Today, me, y/n and our 2 year old daughter, Isla are going shopping for a day out.

"Y/n are you ready?" I asked .
"Yep" she said coming out of our bedroom with Isla on her hip.
"Are we taking her pram with us?" She asked and I shrugged.
"Isla? Do you want us to bring your pram?" I asked my daughter in a baby voice.
"No! I walk like a big girl!" She said .

Y/n and I were walking hand in hand and Isla was in front of us walking slowly.

She started running and I let go of y/n's hand going after her.

I leaned down and scooped her up,placing her on my hip.
"You cheeky little monkey!" I said to her in a baby voice.

"Dadda hungry" she mumbled and rubbed her eyes.
"You tired too?" Y/n asked and Isla nodded.
"Go to sleep baby, Dadda doesn't mind and we will wake you up when we have something to eat" y/n told her in a baby voice.
"Okay mamma" she muttered before resting her head on my shoulder and falling asleep.

We had come to McDonald's and gotten Isla a happy meal.
I placed her in a high chair as y/n sat down opposite me.
"Wake up princess" I whispered and Isla slowly woke up.

Her eyes lit up once she saw the happy meal in front of her.
She began to eat her food, me and y/n doing the same.

"Should we go home after this and watch a movie because she's really tired" y/n suggested.
"Yeah we can do that, she's not had her afternoon nap today though so that's probably why she's tired" I said.
