#111 your daughter breaks up your argument

"Niall! You can't just go and hit a 3 year old!" I yelled at my husband. I didn't like the way he punished our daughter. She had drawn in his favourite guitar because she wanted it to 'look pretty for daddy'. She didn't know any better, she's 3. Niall got really angry about it and spanked her, which in my opening is no way to punish a toddler.

"She's my daughter! I can punish her however I want!" He yelled. "Our daughter actually! And if you think spanking a 3 year old is a fair punishment! You're wrong! You don't hit a toddler Niall! You put them in time out!" I shouted .
"Y/n she drew on my favourite guitar! Don't you realise how important that guitar is to me!" he shouted . "So the guitar is more important to you than your daughter?" I asked shouting.
"Obviously not! But she can't go around the house drawing on everything! She needs to learn and putting her on the steps for 5 minutes isn't going to do anything!" He yelled tugging at his brown hair in frustration.
"You are unbelievable! You need to learn how to treat a toddler!" I yelled. "What the fuck is that supposed to mean! I try my best to be the best dad I can be for that little girl!" He shouted , angry at my comment.
"Do good dad's hit their kids?" I asked loudly.

Niall was about to speak up but was stopped by a little voice.

"Stop!" Aaliyah yelled.
Our heads snapped towards her, she was stood in the doorway in her nightgown and she was clutching her teddy bear Niall gave her as soon as she was born. He had passed it down to her because he was given it when he was born.

"Stop fighting! I dont like mummy and daddy fighting!" She said.

Niall walked over to her and went to pick her up but stopped because of what she said.
"Are you gonna hurt me again daddy?" She asked scared of him.
That broke Niall's heart, I could see it in his eyes. His own child scared of him.

"Of course not princess, I'm sorry for what happened earlier" he said picking her up. He sat down on the sofa with her and her teddy bear in his lap.

"Sorry for drawing on guitar. I wanted to make it pretty for you!" She apologised. "It's okay princess, I love it!" He said .

Niall sat with Aaliyah and was playing his guitar, the one Aaliyah doodled on.
He took a picture of him and Aaliyah and the guitar was in the shop.

@NiallOfficial: @directionerForever: No, Aaliyah drew on it. I was pretty angry with her at first but it doesn't bother me now. I think it's cute , she said she wanted to 'make guitar pretty for me' :)
