Suga Scenario: You are Feeling Self Conscious (Fluff)

Notes: You had had a really bad day at work today. Some of your coworkers had been making rude comments about how you were dressed today. You had known that your outfit wasn't your best but you needed to do laundry so you didn't have a choice. You didn't necessarily care what they thought, but you couldn't help but wonder if your friends and boyfriend saw you that way too. It was hard not to. You kept your emotions in check while you were at work, but those walls crumbled in the safety of your apartment.

When Yoongi came in late that night and saw you asleep on the couch, he figured you had tried to wait up for him again. It was only when he got closer that he noticed that your eyes were red and puffy. After a moment of debate, he decides not to wake you up, instead choosing to lift you carefully and carry you to bed. You stir sligtly, laying you cheek on his shoulder.

"Yoongi?" You murmur, your voice rough from both sleep and the crying.

"Go back to sleep, baby," He sets you softly on your bed, pulling the blanket over you. while he is in the bathroom getting ready for bed, you change into some more comfortable clothes and settle back onto the bed. After a while, he crawls into bed next to you and pulls you to him. Your head rest on his chest while his arms hold you close.

"What happened?" Yoongi looks down at you, poorly masked worry on his face.

"It's not important," You say, barely suppressing a yawn. Yoongi's disapproving look has you quickly changing your answer," Some people at work said some stuff today and it bothered me more than it should have."

"You shouldn't let other people tear you down," His anger is as obvious as you knew it would be," You know that, Jagi."

"I know I shouldn't, but..." Your words trail off as your eyes drift down to stare at your finger, which is tracing shapes on his chest.

"But what?" His anger has slipped down a few notches, landing at annoyance.

"I was scared you agreed with them," You say softly as you watch your hand shake. His hand comes up to cover yours.

"Why would you ever think that I would agree with that band of idiots, Jagi?" You look up to see that every hint of anger is gone, replaced with blatant shock," Have some faith in me."

"It's not that I don't have faith in you, or think that you don't love me. It's just that it's hard to feel like I'm worthy to be with you," You bite your lip, avoiding his eyes.

"Jagi, you know that I'm not perfect.I work late, I'm not always home, and I get annoyed easily," His nose buries in your hair," But you love me anyway. You are a lot closer to perfect than I am, and you know the truth about my personality but you still choose to stay with me. Trust me when I say that you're not getting rid of me that easily, baby."

"I love you, Yoongi," A yawn takes over as soon as the words are out.

"Get some sleep. I have the day off tomorrow, so maybe we can do something," His hand rubs up and down your back," I'd offer to make breakfast in the morning, but we both know neither of us will be up by then."

"Yoongi's breathing slows, and eventually, he drifts off. You smile, admiring his sleeping face for a moment. You can't help but care for the man behind the persona, the one who does his best to take care of his band members and throws himself head first into the world of music. You can't help but smile before nestling closer and falling asleep as well.
