Jimin Scenario: Nervous

Request: Hi! May I request a Scenario with Jimin and s/o where they both are doing a couple dance together for a performance as a way to reveal their secret relationship of 3 years but s/o gets nervous and Jimin comforts them. If your too busy to do this it's fine take as long as you need to there's no rush😊Please don't overwork yourself😊

     The two of you had been practicing for months. That being said, the faster the day of your performance approached, the more nervous you became. The more nervous you got, the more you kept messing up during rehearsal. You knew this dance by heart. You and Jimin had choreographed it together and the dance was perfect. The problem is, when you get nervous, you forget the steps and end up tripping over your own feet. The two of you had been practicing for hours after Jimin's rehearsal, and you just couldn't seem to get it right. You both finally decided to take a water break.

     "Are you okay, Jagiya?" Jimin backhugs you, resting his chin on your shoulder," You seem kind of out of it."

     "No!" You say hastily, your voice a little loud. You flinch," I mean no, I'm fine. Just a bit distracted, I guess."

     You didn't want to admit to Jimin that you were nervous. This dance was going to reveal the three year relationship between you and Jimin. You both had always loved dancing and you couldn't think of a better way to show his fandom your relationship. With permission from his company, the two of you were going to do the dance on a Vlive broadcast and then reveal your relationship. The rest of the guys will be there and will try to help with damage control. You knew that there were going to be people who supported your relationship and people that didn't. The one's that didn't are definitely going to be a lot louder then the ones that did.

     "Jagi," Jimin's tone is warning as he turns you to face him," Tell me the truth."

     "It's just..." You bite your lip, staring over his shoulder," I'm nervous about the performance."

     "Why are you nervous?" Jimin's fingers brush your cheek, cupping your face.

     "This is going to throw everything into chaos, isn't it? People aren't going to react well. A lot of people are going to think that I don't belong by your side," You swallow, still unable to meet his eyes.

     "We don't have to do this if you don't want to. We don't have to do this yet. We can wait longer," He pulls you against his chest, burying his face in your hair," I don't want you to be scared. We can wait until you're ready."

     "I want to do this. I know we can and we should. We've been together for three years, Jimin and I don't want it to be a secret anymore. I just.... it's hard not to doubt myself when I know how they're going to react," You shake your head, stepping back a little to finally meet his eyes.

     "I love you, Jagi. You know this dance. Don't worry about what they're going to think, just remember that the only ones in the room are me and you. We've done this dance a million times and you've always nailed it. Just... don't overthink it," Jimin presses a kiss to your forehead," Do you want to try again?"

     You nod your head and wait for Jimin to start the song. Depending on the reception for you dance, the company was planning to have you perform it at some of their concert in Seoul. The song you had chosen was Taeyang's Wedding Dress. You both figured it was ironic enough plus Jimin has always loved Taeyang's music. Jimin starts the song and gets into position.

     You take a breathe and the dance begins. You did your best to keep your head clear, running through the steps smoothly. With Jimin's silent encouragement, the two of you finished the dance and paused, panting a little. This run had been the best the two of you had done. It wasn't perfect, but it's hard to do a perfect dance.

     "I told you so," Jimin teases, pulling you into him and kissing your gently. You push him away after a second.

     "Eww... You're all sweaty," You wrinkle your nose, teasing him a little.

     "So are you but you don't see me saying anything," Jimin throws your over your shoulder, laughing and spinning you around," Take it back!"

     This went on for a while before the two of you were spent and finally went home. It's hard to avoid being nervous because you know that there's going to be backlash, but as long as Jimin is by your side and the members support the two of you, you know that you can make it through. It's hard not to when your boyfriend is a permanent ray of sunshine.
