Suga Scenario: Happy Birthday

Request: Could I request "it tastes like... you tried... i'll eat it. It's a good attempt. Really." with Yoongi or "I'm nervous too" for jungkook? Whatever gives you more inspiration. Thank you :3

Somehow, you're both excited and terrified of the evening to come. You had been planning Yoongi's birthday party for months and today was finally the day. Yoongi doesn't tend to like a big deal about his birthday but you decided to make a small celebration for him and his band members. Jimin and Hoseok are the only ones that know and are doing their best to keep everyone else distracted with dance rehearsal. The only thing left to do is to bake the cake. It can't be that hard, right?

Somehow, throughout the course of the next hour, cake had become your mortal enemy. You had made the batter incorrectly twice and had to start over. The cake over baked a little bit while you fought make the icing. It's not burnt but it's not perfect, that's for sure. You ice the cake but the icing is a little bit runny. You just hope that it'll solidify some when you put it in the fridge. You are no baker, apparently.

You finally text Hoseok to let him know that they're free to head this way. Yoongi is usually one of the last ones to leave because he takes a little more time cleaning up. He hates being sweaty. Hoseok and Jimin arrive first, dragging the rest of the members behind them. They help you lay out the food you had made for dinner and set their gifts for Yoongi on the coffee table in the living room. Jungkook tries to steal a bite of food but you slap his hand to stop him. He just pouts, his bunny teeth showing. It's not much longer before Yoongi arrives home to darkened apartment.

"Happy Birthday, Yoongi!" Everyone yells excitedly. You can almost see Yoongi flinch by the sudden noise. You're the first one too hug him and he wraps his arms around you with a gummy smile. Your crushed in the middle as the rest of BTS surrounds you.

The food is devoured quickly, the boys obviously hungry from rehearsal. Yoongi is no exception, eating almost as much food as Jin. That's when the singing begins, each member off key in some way or another in their attempts to show their love for Yoongi. You bring out the cake and let Yoongi blow his candles out. You cut Yoongi the first slice and he takes his bite before quickly flinching. You worry your bottom lip, letting out a sigh.

"It tastes like... you tried... I'll eat it. It's a good attempt. Really," He uses his thumb to free your bottom lip from your teeth.

"Sorry," You say softly," I guess I'm not a very good baker."

"That's for sure," Jin winces, setting down his plate.

"It's okay," Yoongi presses a kiss to your temple," You'll do better next time."
