Maybe I should save you all the suspense and tell you right off the bat that I am somewhere in the world where people predominantly speak Chinese and the weather is sunny and hot. Not to mention, this place is the capital of the country I'm in.
Hope that gives you enough clues.
Anyway, so far after only a few days I have to say that coming back here after 3 years feels really different. What was once under development is now a great economic booster, and though the city is still under construction in some areas, it still looks amazing. It doesn't look like much, but it's where I've grown somewhat accustomed to.
So far the one thing that bothers me is that the servers on Instagram and Wattpad don't automatically update with Wifi so I've had a pretty hard time catching up with things here. But I promised, and my sister did too, that while I'm here I'd focus on getting a social media cleanse, and just tune myself into the world around me. After all, no one takes all the time in the world for granted, right? It's sometimes better to just let go and live.

Where did all this come from? I don't know, really. I guess from my breakfast at this little restaurant that sold Chinese "小吃" (literally translates to "small eats") and while eating this scrumptious folded pancake with eggs and coriander/onion on one side and this savoury Chinese sauce on the other. It occurred to me that being anywhere in the world, it grants me a lot of opportunities to see the world in jew perspectives. Even at home, sometimes I feel like I don't know anything about where I live until I go there and see new things.
The opportunity for learning is always around us. Sometimes you just have to put down your phone and let your surroundings be your teacher.
So.
Yeah.
Anyway, here are a few photos I took so far just because. I don't have pics of the breakfast I ate this morning, so I'll have to make do with what I have.

RandomHey guys! So...I've been thinking about this, and after a bit of debate and deliberation I thought it's about time I published an actual book to all my updates to my life. This won't be like my rants book in any way. Rants can remain rants. If I get...
