So now my external portable hard drive does not work anymore. And all because of an argument between me and my mother. AGAIN.
I was working on my resume and cover letter to apply for a job at a summer camp, and then my mother showed up and figured that I wasn't doing anything "proper" so she ended up disconnecting everything and in the process slammed my hard drive on the ground. It took me forever to find the cable so by the time I found it I tried to reconnect it, and though it was recognizable in the Devices and Printers setting window, I couldn't find it in my File Explorer...so now basically this device is unreadable.
AND DATA RECOVERY COULD COST HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS.
THIS FEELS LIKE LOSING MY OLD LAPTOP ALL OVER AGAIN. EXCEPT THIS IS SO MUCH WORSE.
HONESTLY I DON'T KNOW WHY SHE HAD TO DO THIS.
