She went on to explain about the men she dated after venturing into the dating game again. The abuse verbal then physical she suffered with Jeremy, how he’d hit her in front of Tiffany, tried torape her the thanksgiving they were together as the tears increased she moved her story onto each guy she’d been with ending with Mike the habitual lying using cheating player Telling him how she thought she’d never find love again ,at least not a love that was as solid , and true as what I had with Johnny. I never thought I could feel that way again especially not with a man whom I never met and had stolen my heart . It all seems so …..” Steph cut herself off unsure how to describe what she was feeing.
Jordan just listened waiting for her to continue what she was saying.
“I never expected for someone like you to even give someone like me a first glance much less actually be interested in me at all “
Nipping her neck playfully Jordan murmured against it
“Oh I am definitely interested baby “
“I’m just a regular guy baby. Nothing special I’m human”
“I- I didn’t mean –“
Jordan stopped her reply with his lips “Shh baby I knew what you meant. Before anything else I’m just a regular fucked up , damaged ,insecure man who has fallen in love with an equally damaged ,insecure woman. Divorced recovering alcoholic middle aged boyband member yea a great catch “
Steph lifted her head from its spot on Jordan’s chest to look at him .
