Chapter 2: Traveling and Bandits

So far, so good. 

We've been walking for a while now and we still haven't encountered any enemies. This is good.

If this keeps up, we'll be able to find a town. 

We were currently walking through a rocky plain and haven't found any towns or villages yet. How long are we going to keep walking?

It's good that I have a maxed out stamina but still, it gets boring and mentally tiring. I wonder how Kenji and Yuno are.

I took a look at them and they appear to be fine. Since they were robots, they really didn't get tired or bored so they just looked the same.

I didn't know how long we were walking but after a while, we were now in grassland. I saw a sign so I took a look at it.

It appears that we are now in the Estela Country. The nearest town was about eight miles from here and there were some villages along the way.

Once we get to a village, I'll ask around to see what kind of information I can get. I can't travel the world without knowing what to expect.

After about three hours of walking, we finally made it to a village. We were able to settle down and I was able to get some information about this new world.

Right now, I was in Ascot Village. This village isn't well known but they welcome people of any race.

I now know that there are other races besides dragons and humans. Beastfolk!

Oh man, I can't wait to see a cat-eared busty maid! That would make my life complete.

While I was geeking out, the village chief that told me about the world, continued with his explanation.

The villages, towns, and city are under the protection of the Blue order. Each country has a color scheme group like the blue order, the black order, and the red order.

Since we were in the Estela Country, we were in the Blue order's territory. I've also been informed that the organizations have been at odds with each other and they sometimes battle each other.

Yeah, I better stay away from that. I'll have to look at a few spells to help me prevent getting caught in the crossfire.

Oh yeah, there's another thing I might want to avoid. I might want to keep my abilities to myself.

If people found out how I can do the things I can do, there's no doubt in my mind that I'll be used as some tool. I'll also have to make sure no one knows about Kenji and Yuno's true identity as robots.

This world might not know about robots or cyborgs but if they get their hands on them, there's no telling what could happen. I have faith that those two can handle themselves but knowing humans, there's no telling what they're capable of.

After I was done with my business with the village chief, I saw Kenji and Yuno playing with the kids. Even though they don't have that much human emotions to feel, they are somehow smiling.

Maybe they were actually feeling happy but I can't tell since I also gave them a little lesson about showing the right facial expressions. I'll have to ask them later on.

Something seemed different about Yuno though. It looks like her hair was in a ponytail. 

Maybe the girls wanted Yuno to look cuter. She does look pretty though.

"Are they your family?" The village chief asked me. 

Oh yeah, I forgot to make up a story for them. I guess the family thing can work.
