Today was a pretty good day.

I've been hung up on taking down Edgar that I really didn't have time to relax. I'm actually glad that I had this time to chill.

After strolling around the town, we went back to the Inn to rest. I never had that much fun in a while.

Although I had a good time today, I still couldn't stop myself from thinking about how to deal with Edgar. So far, I have no idea where he is.

Not only that but when I tried finding him using [Search], he just showed up and disappeared.  It was weird at first so I tried [Search] a few more times but every time I did, he would always appear then disappear in an instant.

How is he doing that? What is he even doing?

As I thought this, Leontine decided to give me some advice.

[Most spirits are bound to something or someplace. Since Edgar died at sea, he might be bound there.]

[Wait, so doesn't that mean his territory is the entire ocean?]

[It seems that way, yes. Since Edgar is bound to the sea, he can travel anywhere in the ocean.]

What kind of crap is that?! That's so unfair!

[What the heck do I do then? If he can travel all over the ocean then what's the point if he just runs away?]

[The one thing I know about Edgar Dukes is that he's known for being arrogant and hot-headed. Mocking him will likely catch his attention.]

So basically any generic villain, huh. Why am I not surprised?

Anyways, I was getting bored so I left the Inn to look around some more. I also thought I could go talk to Fate for a little bit and see what's next.

As I walked through the city, I started to feel a strange presence eyeing me. Looks like I'm being watched.

Since I'm being spied on, let's have a chat with my stalker in private.

I went over to an unoccupied alley so I could talk with my stalker without anyone else hearing us.

"If you can already tell, I'm doing this so you can show yourself," I called out.

The stalker then showed himself to me. It was David!

I placed a barrier around me so I was protected. Why did I have to confront David of all people?

"I see you already set up protection spell to keep me from harming you. Fortunately for you, I'm not here to fight." He told me.

"Then why are you here?" I asked.

"Part of me was thinking of killing you but the other part is hesitant after pondering about you."

"What does that mean?"

"I've been spying on you for only a little while but I can already see that I'm no match for you."

"Then why try to kill me? If you know you're doomed to fail then why try the impossible?"

"Because as a Killer for Hire, I can't just surrender to someone like you. You may have gotten Billy on your side but don't think for a second that you'll earn my favor."

"If that's all you came to tell me then I'll be going."

I turned around and began to walk away.

"Hang on." He stopped me.

"What is it?"

"I want to know something."

"Then ask."
