It was starting to get dark.
We were still outside sightseeing but it seems that the night was slowly reaching. We could've stayed out during the night but I think that during this hour, crime happens very frequently.
"It's getting dark so I think we should head back," I told the others.
They all agreed and we then decided to head back to Whitney's shop. Actually, Whitney, Iris, and Yuno decided to head back because Kenji and I needed to deal with something.
I needed to get that space between the buildings back in the shop district. If I can get that space now, I can set up tonight so no one can see the building popped out of nowhere.
I heard that there was a building where the real estate agents work at on the east side of the city. Kenji and I went over to the east side and arrived at the building in no time.
The building was three stories and looked pretty old. It also looked like it hasn't been maintained for a while.
We went inside regardless and looked around to find someone to get help. Since it was night time, there weren't that many people but we managed to find someone in their office still working.
She was wearing an ordinary office outfit and had her black glossy hair in a bun. She also had glasses on and was carrying a pile of papers.
She was actually my type and not only that but she was also in her twenties so she was in my strike zone. Unfortunately, she was married because I saw a ring on her left ring finger.
We went inside the office to talk to her. When she noticed us, she greeted us.
"Hi, my name is Susan. How may I help you?" She asked.
"Hi, there. I'm here to talk about buying an area in the shop district. It's the one where there's a gap between the buildings."
Susan looked confused about my request. I can understand that since I didn't really clarify my reason.
I then explained to Susan my reason for why I wanted to buy the gap between the buildings. This time, she understood what I meant.
"Oh, I see! I'll go check to see if that's actually available. If it's not already claimed then I'll see what I can do."
She then left her office to look over the paperwork. I decided to wait in her office and sat on one of the chairs in there.
It was rough and hard because it didn't even have a cushion. Since I wasn't staying long, I'll just have to bear with it.
Kenji just stood up next to and waited. I told Kenji that he could sit down but he said that he was fine so I didn't press on.
It's been about half an hour but Susan finally returned with the paper work.
"Alright, it appears that the space you were talking was recommended for construction but nobody has claimed it yet." She explained.
Great, that means I can get it. I told her that I would like to buy it and she handed me the papers for registration.
It was about ten to fifteen pages so it was safe to say that it took a while to finish it. After what I thought was hours of registering, I finally finished the paperwork and now all I needed to do was pay the fee for the building.
The fee was twenty silver coins. That's five silver coins more than I paid for in Gora city.
I didn't really care since I had the money so I paid Susan upfront. After that was dealt with, Susan told me that the construction working would get working on the building by tomorrow but I told her that was unnecessary and walked away.
