The Guardian was moving closer to us at an alarming rate.

"Fatum, Sors, deal with the guardian. Just don't destroy it, understand?"

"Yes, Karma." They confirmed their orders and attacked the Guardian.

While those two were dealing with the Guardian, I rushed over to that Arthur guy who was trying to steal the Holy Item. I wasn't the only one trying to stop him, though.

"Arthur, stop!" Fate ran over to stop Arthur.

She managed to grab Arthur and pull him off the pedestal that has the Tiara. They were now struggling on the floor.

Arthur kicked Fate off him and he went back to the Tiara. That's when I stepped in.

"Sorry, but this is as far as you go," I told him.

"Out of my way, you masked idiot!"

That's kind of rude, don't you think. Hell, I would go as far as to say that it seemed a bit much.

Arthur tried to punch me but I blocked it and grabbed his arm. I then threw him over a couple of the chairs.

While Arthur was taking a nap, I went over to Fate to see if she was okay.

"Are you alright?" I asked.

"Y-yeah, I'm alright. Where's Arthur?"

"Over by the chairs where I tossed him." I pointed where I threw him.

I helped Fate up and walked her over to the pedestal where the Holy Item was. She then picked it up and wrapped it around some cloth.

"I need to keep this out of Arthur's hand."

"Good idea," I told her.

While Fate guarded the Holy Item, I went over to Arthur. When I went to check on him, I noticed that he wasn't here.

Where the hell did he go? I used [Search] to find him and saw that he was a couple meters away from here.

How was he able to move that fast?

"What's wrong?" Fate asked me.

"Your Priest managed to run away," I told her.

"Then we need to catch him."

"He's already gone far enough for us to be unable to find him. I'm just glad that we were able to keep the Holy Item from him." I told her.

"I-I guess you're right."

After that, we looked over to where Fatum and Sors were and saw that they defeated the Guardian. Not only that but they barely damaged the Guardian.

"It seems that you followed my orders. Good job." I told them.

"Thank you, Karma."

I then turn to Fate.

"Alright, we should get going. We'll be on the lookout for Arthur and make sure he doesn't cause any more harm." I assured her.

"O-okay. Um, thank you for helping us." Fate thanked us.

"It's no problem really. We'll be off now."

Fatum, Sors, and I then jumped up and escaped through the window. Once we were in the alleyway, I opened up a portal for us to go through.

We first went to the Inn to change out of our disguise. After that, I opened up another portal that led to the Base.

I needed to talk to Leontine about Arthur and the Holy Item.

"Welcome back, Master." Elizabeth greeted us.

"Hey, Elizabeth. I need to talk to Leontine. Is she busy?" I asked.

"No, she's just working on a few side projects. Also, Mother has made that instructions manual that you've been wanting."

So, she actually made me that instruction manual. I don't know if I should be grateful or just unfazed.

I'll just go with both.

"Is she in the lab, right now?" I asked.

"Yes, Master. Would you like me to guide you?"

"No, I know my way. Also, could you call in the other maids? I need all of you for something." I asked her.

"Certainly, Master. I'll inform my sisters that you need our assistance." Elizabeth told me.

She then walked off to get her sisters. While she did that, my automaton siblings and I went to go see Leontine.

When we got to the lab, I saw that Leontine made a bunch of blueprints for different projects. They weren't organized and were all over the place.

"You know, the least you can do is keep this place clean. I know that this place does belong to you but keeping it clean is all I ask." I advised her.

"Sorry about that. I just got some ideas and I couldn't help it." She apologized.

Leontine stopped writing and walked over to me.

"So, what can I do for you, Master?"

Really? She's calling me Master?

"First off, please don't call me Master. The other maids can call me that since their maids but your prohibited from calling me that." I ordered her.

"Understood. Sorry about that, Yuuto." She apologized to me again.

"Don't worry about it. Now then, I need to talk to you about the Holy Item."

"Oh? Did you figure out what it is?" She asked.

"I know that it's some kind of silver Tiara."

"Yes, but do you know it's abilities?"

. . . Crap, I forgot to analyze the Tiara when I had the chance.

"No, I don't."

"I should've known." Leontine sighed.

Hey, don't be like that. I didn't really have the time since both times when I saw the Tiara, I had to deal with trouble.

"L-look, could you just tell me what it does to save me the trouble?" I begged.

"Oh well, I guess I can tell you." She submitted.

Leontine then explained to me the workings of the Tiara. Apparently, it's called the Divine Crown of Protection.

The Tiara has the ability to protect its user from any and all attacks. It was forged by Oena and giving to the Temple as a gift for being loyal to her.

What the Tiara can't do is protect the user from Oena. At least Oena wasn't that grateful.

Anyway, I then explained to Leontine about what happened at the Temple.

"I see. So, one of the church members has gone rogue. What do you need, then?" She asked.

"Well, I need to borrow your maids."

"Why do you need my maids?"

"I need them to do something for me but before they do that, I need to give them a little upgrade."

"Ah, I see. Well, since you're going to work on my daughters, I'll be helping you." She declared.

"I'd be disappointed if you didn't help me," I told her.

After that, the maids soon arrived and we began to upgrade them for their mission I'm going to assign them.
