Theodore took us to an empty bar so we could talk in private.
While this was happening, I could tell that Iris was in a bad mood. Considering that our fun time together was ruined, it's no wonder why she's so angry.
"I didn't expect to see you here, Theodore."
It was really strange to see the Prince roaming around the city. Not only that but without a guard.
I guess that explains why both he and his sister are disguised. Speaking of which, why is Evalyn here anyway?
"Likewise but I guess now is as a good time as any for us to talk."
"Really? About what?" I asked.
"It's about your little stunt with Hazel. Word got out about you taking down the most ruthless crimelord all over the continent."
Oh yeah. I was afraid of this.
Ever since I took care of Hazel, I've been getting messengers at my shop asking me to go to their country. I've declined them all since I don't feel like leaving or doing what they say.
Some of them were actually kind of pushy so Yuno and Kenji dealt with them. To be honest, I don't really like all this popularity.
One of my reasons is that it's too much-unwanted attention. My second reason is that there's going to be people that won't take no for an answer when I decline.
Like most people, they won't take no for an answer so even if I say "I'm not going to your country", they'll likely force me to go. It's too much of a pain to deal with as well.
"Well, I don't really plan on leaving this country any time soon so if they want me to visit their country, it's not going to happen."
"Yes and that's the problem. Some of these countries aren't what you call "Friendly." They'll likely send people to capture you and get you to the country."
"I'd feel sorry for the people that would have to on that suicide mission." I scoffed.
Theodore smiled when I said that but I could tell that he was nervous. I can't blame him since someone like me took down Hazel.
"I was going to see if I could get some guards to protect you from them but since you took down Hazel, I don't see you at a disadvantage, do I?"
"No, you don't. I'm not much of a fighter but my siblings sure are. If any of those royal pains in my ass tries to get near me, they'll have to get through Yuno and Kenji first."
Knowing those two, especially Yuno, they'll likely kill whoever tries to harm me. I don't hate that they want to protect me but they need to have some restraints.
"Right, you're siblings. They were also there during Hazel's apprehension, correct?" Theodore asked.
"Yeah. Kenji led the soldiers inside while Yuno infiltrated the base to let him and the soldiers in."
"I see. You three sure are a force to be reckoned with." Theodore chuckled.
"I guess you could say that."
If I told him about my true identity and Kenji and Yuno's, he'd be more afraid of us than he already is. Theodore and I were sitting on those stools that were in front of the counter while Evalyn and Iris sat at the tables.
It looks like they're talking about something but I didn't want to eavesdrop so I didn't listen in.
"So, when are you going to leave here?" Theodore asked.
"I'm not sure. I'm still moving north and I'll likely move south once I see what's all up north."
"You sure that you want to go south? The south is where slaves are allowed."
