Chapter 90: The Plan Commences

Well, so far so go. 

It's been a couple of hours but nothing strange seems to be happening. Regardless, I can't let my guard down. 

I then passed by a group of children in makeup and costumes who were laughing with joy because of the Festival. This is really fun.

It reminds me of the Festivals back home. People going to stands to eat and play games. 

I looked at my watch to see what time it was. It was seven in the evening.

I haven't gotten any contact from the others either. Leontine is currently in charge of the mission but I still want to know what's happening. 

"Yuuto, I found Iris and Nami." Fate told me.

I turned to where Fate pointed and saw Iris and Nami passing through people to get to us. I expected them to wear Yukatas but they just wore regular clothing. 

Oh yeah, this isn't Japan anymore. Still, though, I bet they would great in them.

"I'm glad you guys could make it," I told them.

"I've never been to a Festival before. I wanted to see what it's like." Iris told me.

Oh yeah, I heard from Iris that she never really experienced anything like Festivals. She mostly went to school to study and then there's running away from Hazel. 

"Well, it's finally time for you to experience it." 

That's when Iris smiled slightly. She then nodded as approval that she wants to have fun at the Festival. 

We all then looked around and played at the Oena Festival.

Let's just hope the others are doing fine. 

-Leontine's POV-

Well, well, looks like Yuuto was right about the Temple being invaded. 

I was currently with Kenji, Sapphire, and Ruby who was watching over the Temple where the Holy Item was being held on top of one of the buildings. That's when I spotted three enemies about a couple feet away from us on top of another building. 

Hmm, I can't get a good look at them. Even with my enhanced vision due to my robotic biology, I can't make out their appearance. 

There's also the fact that they're wearing cloaks to cover themselves and prevent getting recognized. They seemed to be the people that Yuno recognized but I only see three of them, where's the other one?

Also, this costume of mine looks ridiculous. I'm wearing a yellow mask with a black cloak covering my entire body. 

It didn't really feel right to me. The others seem fine with it but that's probably because it was an order from Yuuto.  

"Mother, should we attack them?" Ruby asked.

"No, unless they actually make a move, we're not doing anything right now." 

"It's possible that those three enemies are here to attack the Temple," Kenji spoke up.

"I know but until they raid the Temple, it's not wise to pick a fight." 

Kenji knew that more than anyone. Attacking now would only make the situation worse. 

We don't know anything about them. Back in my day as a General, I would always figure out everything about my enemy before I attacked. 

It's a must to know everything about your opponent because when you know everything about them, you'll know their weakness. The problem right now is that I can't analyze my enemies.
