[48] Proposal
As I told him my past, tears flowed on my cheeks nonstop. Walang pagod naman niya iyong pinupunasan habang pinapakinggan ako.
"Vaan even told me something that broke my already broken heart," I said and started crying more. "Noong umayos na ang pakiramdam ni Mommy after niyang mag seizure, she convinced my Daddy to come to my performance.
I found myself leaning forward to his shoulder. I cried my lungs there.
"I'm so so so bad, Raz. The name Fallen Angel doesn't suit me. I'm not really kind!" I told him.
"I always see it," he said back.
"See what?"
He was smiling at me. It was a warm, gentle, and comforting smile.
"The goodness in you. You are kind, love. You are warm and you are my Fallen Angel. And the words of a Lionheart are absolute. Remember that."
Mas lalo akong naiyak sa sinabi niya. Pero ngayon, umiiyak na ako sa tuwa. Ewan ko ba. Paanong nagagawa ni Raziel iyon? He turned my regretful and painful tears into happy tears.
"Your Auntie is like my Mother. They are obsessed over something," he said.
I looked at him while he was patiently wiping my tears away. Ang Auntie ko, she thinks we are just her puppets and tools to reach her dreams."
He frowned. "Are you on my Mother's side?"
I reasoned out but his frown deepened.
"You said you were engaged with Levi Kaiser when you were still a child. But according to your story, he proposed to you when you turned twenty years old," bigla niyang sabi.
He nodded but the frown was still visible on his handsome face. "And where's the ring he gave to you?"
"I left it in my room at the mansion," I answered, my tears had already dried up. "By the way, how did you know our mansion's address?" biglang nanlaki ang mga mata ko nang maalala.
"Don't forget that I have a brother who knows everything."
Oh! Si Chrome Lionheart!
"Wala ba kayong babaeng kapatid? Pinsan?
I feel like we've became closer after I told him about my past. Bukod doon, gumaan din ang pakiramdam ko. And it's so easy for him to divert my attention to something. From our heavy and deep conversation to a light conversation.
