Failed school year

I consider this year a failure.

I didn't receive a letter. There where no hurt unicorns or stones to be saved. I can't speak parseltongue, I sound like a dying cat. The girls bathroom is just a bathroom, there is no chamber of secrets. No werewolves became teachers, my dog is just a dog, and I can't change time. I didn't get chosen by the goblet to fight dragons and mermaids, and Voldemort wasn't defeated again. There was no secret organization to fight evil, no teacher worse than Voldemort (but one came close) and no rule breaking secret clubs. I didn't find an old copy of a book filled with hints and notes, no one fell off the roof, and no lockets were found. I didn't search for horcruxes. I didn't fight in any battles. Voldemort isn't defeated yet.
Maybe Eroll was the one sending me my letter.
Maybe it's a few years late.
Maybe there's a special school somewhere else.
Maybe next year.
