Death scenes

So I'm going to rate the top 20 death scenes... and see who got the best death scene and who can't be considered dead because they didn't have a good death scene. It's not saddest deaths, just good death scenes.

Voldemort (20)
ONLY I CAN LIVE FOREVER! *a few hours later* dead. Yeah that's living
Forever, getting killed by the seventeen gear old you couldn't kill when he was a baby.

Remus and Tonks (19 & 18)
Ok, we didn't even read their death scene, they were just.... Dead. Later we found out that it was Dolohov who killed Lupin and Bellatrix that killed Tonks. I honestly didn't even realize they were dead until the resurrection stone because I was too busy crying over Fred. I had to reread that torturous part once more just to see if it was really true. Sadly, it was.

Sirius (17)
Sirius Black, animagus at the age 15, rebel of the Black family, first person to escape Azkaban without outside help, evaded the Ministry and Dementors for three years, killed by drapery. Siriusly.

Dumbledore (16)
Contracted magical arm cancer and committed Snape assisted suicide. And then fell off the Astronomy Tower. What a way to go.

Peter Pettigrew (15)
His own hand chocked him. But the real death of Peter Pettigrew, wasn't in Malfoy Manor. It was when he went over to the dark side. When he decided to betray his friends. Because there was a good Peter, a marauder Peter, but then he chose Death Eaters over Marauders and metaphorically the Peter his friends knew died.

Gideon and Fabian Prewett (14 & 13)
They may have only been mentioned once or twice in the books, but you can't have a marauders era after Hogwarts fanfiction without them. And it took five Death Eaters to kill them. FIVE

Cedric Diggory (12)
Going to win the tournament...then green, then he comes back out if Voldemort's wand for his last request

Colin Creevey (12)
He was so brave, a true Gryffindor. He wanted to fight. All he wanted to do was fit in. He was the youngest casualty of the Battle of Hogwarys. Colin, you tied with Cedric Diggory, and Cedric may be more remembered, but we will NEVER forget you.

Fred (11)
Fred Weasley did not die because a wall fell on him! He couldn't! He...he... I cried for over an hour.

Hedwig (10)

Aragog (9)
We may not have shed many tears over the giant spider, but remember when they were second years, going into the forest to find out about the Chamber of Secrets, to save the school? The seconds years died with him, leaving sixth years who would have to save the entire wizarding world and not just Hogwarts.

Harry Potter (8)
He only made it to nine on this list because he came back to life. But the resurrection stone, and he willingly let Voldemort kill him, and if he hadn't chosen to come back, we would have never survived.

Snape (394)
Snake venom, tears. always. I may not have forgiven you for the hell you gave anyone who wasn't a Slytherin, but you will always have a sad death scene. I'm going to count his memories in the death scene, so that is a pretty good death scene.

She came back from the dead to haunt someone. And that is awesome.

Nagini (4)

Lily and James (3 & 2)
Their love! You can't separate the two! James faced Voldemort without a wand for Lily and Harry, Lily's love for Harry made it so that the killing curse didn't kill him! They have been dead for literally the entire series and we still aren't over it!

Bellatrix Lestrange (1)
C'mon, we all wanted her dead. She killed Sirius and Tonks, tortured Hermione, Alice, and Frank, and was just a plain b*tch about it all. Plus, Mrs. Weasley was the one got her. Not my daughter you bitch!
