Technically Voldemort didn't kill Snape. So if Voldemort thought that killing Snape would give him power of the elder wand, then through his view of it, Nagini killed Snape, and Nagini owns the elder wand. But really Draco disarmed Dumbledore and Harry disarmed Draco and Harry owns it.
But Nagini was close to becoming the first snake to ever own a wand.
