I have time to think about how life really goes. Do I honestly have enough time to obsess over something?
Yes. Yes I do. Imagine all the books I could have read, but I wasted my time reading the same series.
Yeah, so? Life isn't as short as people like to say it is. 70,80,90 years can be pretty long.Wasted my time on fantasy, really.
It's not wasted if I love it.I should be reading nonfiction, actual real-life stories to prepare for the future.
WHAT'S LIFE WITHOUT A LITTLE RISK? I mean, what is there to like about a series such as this? It's not like you fall in love with the characters, wish you belong there, experience the magic for yourself, and constantly quote the best words ever placed together in the English language.

Yeah, considering it has be translated into over 200 languages. It all seems the same, there's no one unique. No one who sees things others can't and has such an amazing imagination that they see things like Crumple Horned Snorkacks and Nargles, for instance.

Every character is exactly the same. There's no distinguishing good from evil, and if there was, it would be very black and white. Good people and death eaters, so to say.
THERE IS NO GOOD AND EVIL THERE IS ONLY POWER AND THOSE TO WEAK TO SEEK IT
Anyways, the world isn't split into good people and death eaters. We've all got both light and dark inside of of, what matters is the part we choose to act on.

and the events are so very ordinary it's boring. It's like every other story. Prophecies and heroes defeat villains and don't die. Not even become masters of death and return from the dead.
