For my english class, I have to write a "short answer" (*cough* paper really)
On good vs. evil in literature and give examples of it. All I'm thinking is "How can I write this if there is no good and evil, there is only power and those to weak to seek it?"
I ended up writing about how Voldemort is "dark" because he murders people and stuff and how Harry's good because he gave Voldemort a chance to change in the end but Voldemort didn't take it. But I couldn't resist and added in the end that the world isn't split into good people and death eaters (as the prompt was trying to imply) and that we all have light and dark inside of us, what matters is the part we choose to act on. Honestly, I think my teacher thinks I'm crazy the number of Harry Potter quotes I use. Mostly Sirius Black. Seriously, if the prompt is "Should you take risks or not? Pick a side and give examples." How do you expect me to NOT use "What's life without a little risk?"
Just one of my many talents, relating ANYTHING to Harry Potter. ANYTHING
