"Harry?"
Ginny Potter knocked on his office door. It had been five years since the Battle of Hogwarts, to this date.
"I'm-I'm fine."
Harry sniffed.
"No you're not."
Ginny came in and sat down on the floor next to him.
"It's been five year. Why can't I stop thinking it was my fault? Everyone tells me its not, but... they're gone, Ginny."
Ginny smiled sadly.
"No, no they're not. The ones that love us never really leave us."
She didn't really understand why she said that. It was like someone was controlling her. But in a nice why, not possession, like Voldemort.
"Just remember everything happy that happened."
Harry took a shaky breath.
"Let's start with Lupin."
Harry closed his eyes.
"Third year, he taught me how to produce a Patronus Charm."
Ginny nodded.
"Second year, he was the best teacher we would ever have."
Harry blinked.
"Third year, we he 'saved' us on the train, from the dementor."
Ginny nodded.
"With the fire. And he was just, 'None of us are hiding Sirius Black under our cloaks' and made a Patronus Charm. That must have been hard. The dementor was only there because of Sirius, who at the time he thought was the cause of death for James and Peter."
Harry's eyes widened.
"Yeah, yeah, it must have been."
Ginny smiled.
"Okay, now, Tonks."
Harry thought for a moment.
"Fifth year, dinner at Grimmauld Place."
Ginny said.
"Now, Mad-Eye?"
Harry sighed.
"Constant vigilance."
Ginny poked him.
"It's more like, CONSTANT VIGILANCE!"
They were laughing really hard now.
"Colin."
Ginny would just name someone who had died, whether in the battle or not, and Harry would answer with a happy memory.
"His camera, he took it everywhere."
Ginny laughed.
"We should've made a 'Harry Potter fan club'."
Harry laughed.
"That's what Ron said!"
Ginny continued.
"Hedwig."
"When she was in flight, she looked beautiful."
"Dobby?"
"Socks. Socks and sweaters."
"Sirius."
"Padfoot, Snuffles, his laughter."
"Dumbledore."
"Nitwit, blubber, oddment, tweak!"
Ginny smiled.
"See? Even on the worst day of the year, we can find happiness."
Harry wrapped his arm around her.
"Happiness can be found in the darkest of times if one only remembers to turn on the light. Ginny, you are the light of my world."
