The story first took place in April's old farmhouse. The turtles, Splinter, April and Casey were there. But instead of laughing or telling stories, they are all crying. The farmhouse were filled with sobs and sadness.

This is the place where they chose to bury their very best friend (Y/N). She died during their fight against the Shredder and his comrades. (Y/N) is a brave, kind and a skilled ninja. She was also Leonardo's girlfriend in a year. But during the battle, she saved him from being stabbed by the metallic ninja and took the blow with her instead. Donnie treated her wounds just in time. But after a few minutes, she had passed away due to excessive blood loss.

She is now resting in peace. In her coffin which was showered with blue and white roses. Everyone left after the funeral except for Leo. He can't leave beside (Y/N)'s grave. He failed her, he blamed himself, he couldn't move on. He don't know if he could ever be the same again.

When they returned to the lair in New York. Leo locked himself in his room, crying even more. He really misses his girl every much. The pictures of him and (Y/N) made him smile a bit and made him broken at the same time.

Suddenly, he heard a knock on the door.

"Leo!" it was Donnie. Leo tried to ignore his brother. He just lay down on his bed and curl like a ball, hugging his knees.

"It's dinner time. Wanna eat with us?"

"No, thanks." he replied with a hoarse voice.

"Okay, but we're saving two slices of pizza for you. We can't go through if we have an empty stomach!" Donnie reminded as he left.

Meanwhile, they were all worried about Leo. Especially Splinter. He couldn't even think on how he can help his son get through all of this. Leo just locked himself there, he doesn't eat, train or just hang out with them.

"My sons, let us just give Leonardo some space. He need it for his emotional recovery. We all knew that losing a person we love the most is always painful." he said.

"We all did lose (Y/N), Sensei." Raph said.

"We did. But Leo needs help from us." Mikey replied. "We are his family!" he added.

"I have a plan!" Donnie said as a light bulb lit above his head (not literally). He came near to his sensei and brothers and whispered his plan.

Meanwhile, Leo decided to meditate in the dojo. He sat down on the dojo mat and closed his eyes. His head was filled with (Y/N) again. Memories replayed on his head. No one knows how long did he stay that way. Little did he know, tears started to form in his eyes even when they're closed.

Splinter came in the dojo and saw his meditating with tears. He felt pity for his son and at the same time, he's concerned for his actions.

"Leonardo."

The said turtle opened his eyes. He saw his sensei standing behind him. "Oh, sensei."

The red-robed ninja wiped his tear. "I have felt the same way when Tang Shen died. But in order to make myself better, I went to the place where she loved the most. New York City. And that's when everything had changed, now I have you four."

Leo hugged his father and try not to break down. "Father... I-I... how—I can't cope up that easy."

"Well, I suggest that you must go to a place where you remind of (Y/N). That might help you."

"I will. And I know just one." Leo replied.

Later, Raph came in the dojo. "Time for patrol, Leo. Wanna come?"

Splinter smiled at his eldest son. Leo nod his head and looked at Raph, "I will."

When Leo and Raph went out from the dojo, Splinter meditates in front of the shelf where the two pictures of Tang Shen and (Y/N) were placed. After a deep trance, a notebook hidden behind (Y/N)'s photo had caught his attention. He opened it and it was revealed that notebook was (Y/N)'s diary. Well, Splinter knew reading a diary is a bad idea so he closed it. Just then, a piece of paper fell from one of it's pages. He picked it up and read it. It only contains one sentence:

"Not even death can't stop me."

Splinter's eyes grew wide. As if he just watched one of Mikey's horror movies.
