Nate's POV

May and I decided to go to the library. We need to research for the reporting in our Filipino Class. We're not on the same group but that's okay, I'm still with her.

"Huy twin, asan ba hahanapin yung libro dito?" she said while scratching the back of her head. She seems confused on what book she should borrow.

"Come on, let's find it." I said and grabbed her wrist. She doesn't say anything about it so I guess it's okay.

We were busy finding the book and searching everywhere when Sky came.

"Nate, diba ako ang partner bat ka sumasama dito?" she crossed her arms and raised her eyebrows on May.

"It's none of your business, get out of our way." I said and started to get out of that scene. But she blocked us.

"No. Come with me, we need to talk about our report." she hardly said.

"Don't test my limits, woman." I coldly said because she's getting on my nerves.

"Nakakaintindi ka naman siguro ng ingles no? Tabi. Paharang harang para ka pa namang balyena." May said and it made me laugh but ofcourse I hide it.

Sky seems disgusted and insulted so she immediately pave the way.

"We're not yet finished." she threatened May.

"Finish mo mukha mo. Baka ikaw finish-in ko." and then we go out of the library. We haven't seen the book but May said we'll just get back to it later when the 'balyena' is not around.

We just go to the canteen and grab some snacks and talked for awhile.

"Nakakairita talaga 'yun. Kahapon pa ako tinitingnan ng masama eh, wala naman akong ginagawang masama sa kanya." she said and too a big bite on her burger.

"Don't mind her. She's just another attention seeker freak." I said and May giggled.

"Huy grabe ka ha!"

"Why? You just called her balyena awhile ago, that's more rude."

And we both laugh. Not until this Daniel guy stole the scene. Psh

"Kanina pa kita hinahanap, wala ka naman sa library." he said and pouted. Psh gay.

"Ang pabebe mo uy, nagutom kasi si twinnie kaya pumunta kami dito." she explained.

"Twinnie?" Daniel asked. The hell you care.

"Yes, twinnie just like brothers and sisters. Diba twinnie?"

I don't know but something stings inside me. What is happening?

"A-ah yeah, of course." I answered.

Okay, brothers and sisters.

"Well, that's good to hear. Come on May, let's finish our report." Daniel grabbed her hand and May haven't got the chance to bid goodbye to me but she waved her hand and said to check my phone.

Psh, another annoying being and Daniel is the name.

I'm stuck here in the middle of strangers alone in this table. I put my earphones in my ears and read one of my favorite books.

It's quite a relaxation for me when I and my books are together. I don't know but it gave me rest just by reading and thinking it on the real world.

I was busy reading when my phone beeps.

Twinnie, sorry ha di ako nakapagpaalam ng maayos. Ang kulit kasi ni Daniel kaya yun. Kita tayo mamayang lunch ha, hintayin mo ako.

She texted. Well, at least everything's fine now. I turned my attention back on reading after I sent my reply to her. And now, its with a smile.

"So that is for today, I hope you get a lot of knowledge. See you next meeting." said our Math prof.

The topic is just basic College Algebra but my seatmate looks so drained and tired.

"Grabe napagod ang utak ko. Ang hirap talaga ng Math." sabi niya.

We were fixing our things since it's already dismissal time.

"My Nanay said that it is only hard if you think it really is." sagot ko

"Haynaku tigilan mo muna ako sa kakaenglish mo Nate, naubos pa dugo ko sa Math."

Then we both laugh. Another crazy moment with her. She's really crazy.

We both went outside. She's talking about everything, good thing that Daniel guy is not included.

"Where is your place?"

"Ah dyan lang sa may Sampaguita Street." she said.

"We will pass by that street. Come with me." I said.

"Yeeey libreng sakay. Tara!"

This is what I like about May, she doesn't even know how to be pabebe not like those girls. Psh

Wait, what. You mean like?

Tsk.

I just shrugged that thought because it's not helping. We waited for a few moments and Tatay's car arrived. Such a cool car.

"Parang nakakahiya na ngayon ah, Tatay mo pala susundo sayo. Parang nagtago ang buntot ko." sabi niya

"It's alright, he'll neve bite you." I joked. Good thing she laughed.

We immediately get inside the car and she shyly greet my Tatay.

"Hello po Sir! Makikisakay po ako, okay lang po ba?" nahihiyang sabi niya.

Tatay just laughed and looked at me with a malicious look. Geez

"Of course iha, you're Nate's 'friend'." si Tatay with an emphasis of that friend word.

"Tatay, don't start." I said

"I didn't do anything." pagmamaang-maangan niya then he laugh. He then start the engine and drove our way home.

"How did you two met?" He asked.

"Ah blockmates po kami so lahat po ng subject, magkaklase po kami." said May.

"Ay hala! Nakakaintindi po ba kayo ng Tagalog?" tanong ni May na magpatawa ulit kay Tatay.

"Yeah, of course. Also, bisaya." he proudly said. Syempre, Nanay is bisaya so he knows a thing about it. He teaches me some tho.

"What's good morning again in bisaya, Nate?" he asked. Of course, I know that one.

"Simple. 'Nangutot ko sa akong kamot.'" I said and they both laugh. Tatay needs to stop just to laugh it all out.

"Hey! What's the matter you two?" I innocently asked because I don't get it. I said it right tho

"Mali man 'yun uy hahahahahaha ibig sabihin ng sinabi mo eh, umuto ka sa kamay mo." May explained. And I glared at Tatay, he just throw his hands up in the air. Psh I was tricked

We enjoyed the trip and after we dropped May, we immediately arrived our home. When we were about to enter the door, Tatay suddenly said something.

"That girl is something." he said while smiling.

Yeah, she is.
