Nate's POV

Today is our reporting for the Filipino Class. We are the first reporter and though we never get along that much with Sky, we managed to pull off a nice report and thus, received a good grade. I would settle for that, always.

It's May and Daniel's turn. I was quite confident with May but with that Daniel guy, nope.

In the beginning of the report, they portrayed a character that is Filipino and I'm not familiar with. They act their hearts out and I could say that May is fun to watch, only May of course. Since their topic is Drama, it's a good introduction for their report. They did so well and everyone in the class applaud their effort. Psh I'm sure it was May's idea.

"Isa sa mga nagustuhan ko sa lahat lahat ng nagpresenta sa gitna ay ang isang pares na naggugol ng malaking paghihirap para mabigyan taylng manonood ng isang maganda at makabuluhang interpretasyon ng kanilang topiko. At ito ay ang grupo ni Mary Dale at Daniel. Limang bagsak para sa kanila." my teacher smiled while saying those. Then everyone cheered them but what caught my eye is that Daniel suddenly hugged May and May did the same. Fck

When we were already dismissed, I immediately get out of the room and walked my way anywhere. I don't wanna be with May now because for sure, she's with Daniel.

I continuously walk even though May is calling my name. Don't turn back Nate, just don't. I walked fast and I don't care if I look like an idiot right now.

My feet brought me an open field where fresh air can be smelled. This is my new place now. This is relaxing. I immediately took my earphones out and my book. I just sat on one of the benches near the tree. This is so perfect.

I was busy reading and I'm into the moment when suddenly someone poked me non-stop.

"What?" I said and turned my back. It's May.

"Anong nangyari sa'yo?" she said.

"I'm okay, I just want to be alone." I said coldly.

"Sabihin mo na, makikinig-"

"May please, just leave me alone." I said. Maybe I sound rude but it is what it is.

"Okay." she said and leave me sitting there.

I sighed. Stupid Nate.

What have you done?

Maybe she's hurt right now.

Ghad.

I immediately put my things inside my bag and hurriedly chase her. Good thing she's walking slowly, I immediately grabbed her hand and pulled her to where my feet wants me to be. She didn't say anything. We are passing a hallway where many students are present that's why they're teasing us and calling our attention. It's annoying but I like that in that way.

We arrived on the coffee shop outside our school. It's already lunch but good thing they have meal in here.

"Eh Nate, ang mahal dito. Halika na-"

"Stay. Please don't leave me again." I said and it's from my heart. I don't care what he perceives that phrase.

We sat on the table on the corner side. I immediately got up and ordered on the counter. After I got something, I go back to our seat and placed the food infront of here.

"Huy nabuang! May baon ako uy!" She said and moved in on my side.

"Give me your baon then. You don't want me to be poisoned right? Then give me your baon." I said. She was shocked but she immediately take her lunchbox out from her bag.

"Pasensya kana ha, yan lang naluto ko kanina. Wag kang mag-alala, magluluto ako bukas ng masarap."

It's adobo. Ghad my favorite.

We began to eat and all I can say is perfection. This is so freakin' delicious. I immediately finished eating for more like five minutes I think.

"Di halatang gutom ah." she said while stuffing her mouth with food. Cute.

"It's so delicious May, can you make me more?" I pleaded.

"Nge ikaw bitaw, okay lang sakin sabihin mo di masarap uy."

This is May. She knows that she's good but she's not to confident to brag herself. She stay grounded and humble even though people throw her praises and appreciation.

"Do I look like I'm lying May?" I said.

She shook her head. Good girl.

"Now, promise me that you'll make me many adobo okay?"

"Da uy, ibebenta ko nalang sayo para may pagkakitaan din ako." she said and I laugh.

"Deal." and I offered my hand for deal. She then accepted it.

"Deal." and she smiled.

"Yes, may pagkakakitaan nako hahahaha"

She's crazy, I know, but she's just so amazing. I rather be with her than those people who lived their lives in a normal and boring cycle. She's just so positive and take things lightly that even you, just around her, will be influenced by her sunshine.

She really is like my Nanay. A rare gem.

And I'm not embarass to say that I like her, of course, I will keep this admiration to me for the mean time.

I'll just let God's plan worked into me and May. If were bound to be together then there's no worries for waiting the right time.

Because at the end of the day, you'll end up with each other. God made you both to be together. So I will not rush things and just go with the flow.

We just talked the time left before going to class. I enjoyed every time that we are together. May is just so admirable and maybe every guy who will get close to her will probably be feeling the same way with mine. I guess that Daniel guy has it too so I will hustle more to be with her all the time and not with that freaking Daniel.

No way. I will never ever let him get in my way or in our way. Never.
