First

Nate's POV

I woke up smiling today. Ang ganda ng gising kasi guess what? I'm finally entering College. It's been 10 years since we settled as a family and from that day, everything is just so magical.

"Kuya, get up!"

"Come on, Kuya Nate."

"We're getting late, Babu."

Yeah. They're my siblings. The ever kulit sublings. But I love of all of them because one thing, they served as my alarm clock just like what they did awhile ago.

The first two nagging me is Nathalie Emith and Natasha Emilia, they're twins. And that cute little guy calling me Babu is our youngest, Nathan Elijah. He's the sunshine of our home, he has this cute little personality that gives us happiness all the time.

Nath and Nat are both 9 years old. Just like me they are both achievers in school, well, we all are of course. Sadly, they are not completely into each other, I don't know maybe because nag-aagawan sila sa top spot sa school ranking. Nanay and Tatay always reminds them not to fight for that silly thing and that they should love each other since they're twins. But then, they don't mind my parents' advice.

Nathan is just on his Nursery Class. He's very persistent to go to school that's why Nanay enrolled him even he's only 4 years old. He's so funny kasi kahit na ang bata pa niya eh he's proving something. He's always praised for his performance in his school despite of bis young age.

"Kami ang magsasabay ni Kuya mamayang lunch." said Nat

"No way, Kuya promised me yesterday. Diba Kuya?" said Nath

"What Kuya? You told me right?" Nat

"Kuya forgot, that's why he's going with me." Nath teases.

They are already starting a fight when our lovely parents enter the room.

"What's the matter Nath and Nat?" tanong ni Tatay. He's like the Law in this house, what he said should be done or else you'll nowhere to be picked.

"They are arguing again for some silly reason." I explained.

"Enough with that ladies, mahiya naman kaya sa bunso natin dito." sabi ni Nanay at kinarga si Nathan. Ngumiti naman ang bata, such a cutie.

"Kuya, come on. Prepare yourself, it's your first day now." sabi ni Tatay. Although he has a strong father personality, he's still my bestfriend in all things. Our very bonding is playing football. He introduced me with this sport and now I'm inlove with it.

"Okay Tatay. Will be there after 15 minutes." I said and immediately walk my way towards my shower.

"Jusy take your time, love. It's still early." Nanay shouted. Well, I just got a cool family, right? I will not trade them for anything. I love them and I can't live without them.

"Enjoy your first day, man. I know you'll do great." sabi ni Tatay at bumababa na kaagad agad ako after giving him a hug.

This will be my second home for the next four years and I can't wait to do great and create memories in this school. I enrolled Accountancy just like my Nanay and Tatay. I don't know but I love the work they are both doing. They are my inspiration in doing this so I'm confident to make this through.

My eyes are busy roaming the halls and abbeys of the school when suddenly someone bumped me. Everything was so fast and now, she's on my arms and her papers and things are all around the floor.

She immediately got up.

"Unsa mani siya uy, di man magtan-aw ( Ano ba naman to, di man lang tumitingin sa daan.)" She said in an alien language.

"What did you say?" I asked.

"Wala. Sabi ko ang laki ng mata mo para makita ako." she said and it made my blood boil. Okay, she just said I got big eyes. Control, Nate. Breathe in, breathe out.

"Well, not like you who is just one cough away." I teased. Her small eyes grew bigger.

"Huh, humanda ka saking power ranger ka!" she said and picked all the papers on the floor. I immediately helped her, she doesn't mind I guess 'cause she did not say anything. After we picked it all up, she just go and turn her back from me without saying thank you.

"No thank you?" I shouted at her.

"Thank you mo mukha mo." she shouted back. Well, it made me laugh tho. I hope I got to see her again, she's fun to annoy.

After roaming the school for about few minutes, I already found my classroom for my first subject in the morning, Accounting 1. Well, the description says that it's Basic Accounting. So, I guess it's just basic and simple.

I entered the room and there are only few of us here since it's still early. I searched for familiar face but I'm not able to find one. I sat on the first row of the class near the window. Since then, this is my favorite spot and seat.

Few moments have passed and my blockmates arrived. There are noisy, some are nerds, few are just prim and proper but what caught my eye is this clown entertaining our class with her small treats.

"Uy sige na, bili na kayo ng munchkins ko." she shouted.

Everyone doesn't pay attention to her so I immediately got up and approached her.

"Hey!" I greeted

Kumunot lang ang noo niya.

"Ano naman ha, power ranger?" she said.

Why is she calling me power ranger, do I look like one? Geez.

"How much is that?" I asked pointing at the chocolate balls she's holding.

"5 pesos each."

"How much is it all?" I asked again.

"Pag ikaw di bumili, tatamaan ka sakin." she taunted.

"You don't want me to buy? Okay." then I jokingly turned my back away from here. She then immediately grabbed my arm and it gave shivers all over my body. That's weird.

"500 lang, pogi. Presyong divisoria na 'yan." she endorses.

"Since you call me pogi, I'll buy it all." I said and grabbed my wallet. I think she really needs finances and I'm willing to help her since she poured effort in making one.

Nanlaki ang mata niya at agad ibinigay sakin ang container. I handed her the bill and she immediately grab it and put in her pocket. That's quick.

"Thank you ..." she said. She doesn't know my name.

"Nate Edrane, just Nate. And you are?"

"Mary Dale, tawagin mo nalang akong May." she said and smiled.

"Okay, May." and I smiled back and shook her hands.

It's only the first day and I already found a friend. That's a good start.
