finn's pov

i looked at the chocolates in the shop we can't afford.

my mother only works as a dress maker for a rich man.

the rich man has a daughter named y/n which i've known for a long time now because of my mom's work.

my mother dragged me to the rich man's place.

i was helping my mother when i saw y/n getting her lessons.

i got a container and pretended it was a teacup.

i drank from it in unison with her and my mouth got a cloth from my pretend teacup.

y/n burst out her tea from her mouth from laughter.

her father noticed this and called her.

her father scolded her about this.

"sir, i was the one who made her laugh." i admitted.

"oh, thank you for your kindness, young boy." the rich man said.

slap!

i held my cheek where the rich man slaped me.

y/n's father sent her to her room.

i looked at my mother who has a disapproving look.

i went to the grassy part beside the lake.

"hey."

y/n.

"how'd you get out?" i asked her.

"the window." she said, staring at the lake.

"my father wants to send me to an all-girls school." she said.

i looked at her.

"i don't know what to do. i don't know what my future is." she said.

"i do." i replied.

i close my eyes and i can see the world that's waiting up for me that i call my own.

we stood up together and ran out in the fields.

throught the dark, through the door, through where no one's been before.

but it feels like home.

they can say, they can say it all sounds crazy.

i led her to the mansion we were planning to be living at the future.

they can say, they can say i've lost my mind.

we entered the bush and led her to a special room.
