IN THE FEMALE RESIDENCE ...

Tae was watching the dark-haired youth sprinkle the surface of the access card for a second time.

They had been checking the crime scene for several hours already and, unlike the previous day, they had found some interesting clues.

However, unlike what many would think, the mind of the young police inspector was in a matter completely unrelated to the chain of murders they were investigating.

"I've messed up...", he though without taking his eyes off Tee, "I screwed up badly..."

And the worst thing was that, no doubt, it was all his fault. His and nobody else's.

But ...

Why couldn't Tee understand him?

The young man frowned as he ran a hand through his hair, angry at the situation they were living.

Finally, with a determined expression on his face, and after verifying that they were completely alone, Tae decided to try to return to the topic that, since that morning, had created a huge gap between the young man and him.

- "Tee, I ..."

- "No Tae, you've been pretty clear this morning" - said Tee without looking up from the small surface of dark plastic in which appeared a series of digits as the only way of identification.

- "Tee, I really didn't want to say that. It's just that I need time, my family ..."

Finally, the young scientist turned towards the homicide inspector. His tired expression caused Tae to lose his voice while starting to feel very nervous.

Maybe it had not been such a good idea to touch the subject this soon...

- "Tae, we've been together for more than three years, since the police academy. Are you really telling me that you need more time to tell your family about us?" - Tee asked him in a cold voice - "Do you even intend to do it someday?"

- " Of course!" - Tae exclaimed as he took a couple of steps towards the young man - "It's just that ..."

Tee sighed and then looked down at the floor in a mute expression of resignation.

- "You have not even been able to tell your friends ... you're still going to those dates that your mother prepares for you with all those girls" - said Tee while finally raising his face showing a determined expression that made Tae's blood freeze in his veins - "and I am already tired of being your secret, of seeing how every Friday you go out with a different girl and then, smelling of her perfume and with lipstick marks on your shirt, you show up at my house with the intention of spending the night with me. I can no longer ... "

Tae paled and, with quick steps, approached the young man and took him by the hands.

- "No, Tee .... Please, I ..."

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

A knock on the door caused Tee to snap off Tae's grip and turn towards the table, leaving a dismayed Tae who did not know what to do or how to solve the problem.

- "Good morning" - Singto said as soon as he entered the room. Beside him, as was the custom now, was his roommate, Krist.

- "Hello Tee ... Tae" - Krist also greeted them while stopping only a few steps away from Singto.

- "Hello guys" - said Tee while turning to them and giving them a smile. The first of the day - "I'm glad you've arrived".

"Well, I'd  rather had prefer for them to appeared a little later ...", Tae thought as he glanced sideways at a now-smiling Tee.
