Currently reading TOG for the first time (No spoilers please!!) and I just got to the part where Celaena wins a 'duel' with Verin.
Except that it wasn't much of a duel because she kicked his ass and he didn't even get a hit in because Celaena is an epic badass.
But Dorian and Chaol watched her fight and win and tell Brullo that he should "Give me real men to fight. Then maybe I'll bother trying"
And NO ONE CAN TELL ME that Dorian and Chaol did not execute a perfect 13-move secret handshake of triumph the minute that she said that.
Everybody else is like 'WTF WAS THAT' and Dorian and Chaol are just leaning against the wall with smug grins like 'Hell yeah, we picked good. This girl's got this in the bag High five.'
I like this book so far. But then again, is it even possible for Sarah J. Maas to write a bad book?
