In season 11, Sam starts praying to Chuck for help and he asks for a sign. This sign comes in the form of various visions throughout the season.
But we find out later that it was Lucifer, not Chuck, who was sending the visions.
Which means that it was LUCIFER, NOT CHUCK, who answered Sam's prayers.
And I think that says a lot about both of their characters.
God's too busy blogging about cats to answer the phone, but Satan is willing to listen anytime.
