Chapter Forty-Eight: I like guys who can be themselves.

"So Christian do you or do you not know that the formula for volume of a sphere is radius cubed and not squared?"

He scratched his head and seemed dumb at the moment and I started to become more and more furious because I had mentioned the radius cubed so many times but still he failed to put that in mind. Come on it's cubed not squared. Cubed. Ice cube, cheese cubes, whatever cubes.

He scratched his head and looked annoyed as he wrote 3. He continued solving but didn't have the patience to do so.

Upon seeing Calvin just staring at us, I turned to him. "So what are you doing now Calvin? Didn't I tell you not to stop?"

He obediently lowered his head and continued solving for his own. Right now, things were making me upset, and I felt pathetic for being snappish at the two. It's just that, why would Finn lie to me about Aubrey? Supposed he's hiding something, what would that something be? What if he didn't love me that much and was just using me? My fist clenched as I kept on thinking about Finn lying to me and how Finn was a jerk. Maybe I could trust no one. Not even Finn.

Calvin then silently gave me his notebook without saying anything. As I checked his work, I got annoyed with his mistakes.

"So is your carelessness going to keep you from getting the correct answer?" I pushed back the notebook to Calvin. "Correct them, now!"

He showed a cringing look as he took the notebook from me.

"Look teacher, I'm done for today." Christian pursed his lips as he handed me his notebook. "It's radius cubed. I get it. I want to sleep." Without any hesitation, he stood up and left the room leaving a hint of disrespect.

"Is your brother usually like this?" I asked Calvin because Christian got no right to just walk away like this.

"He wasn't chosen at his gym class." Was all Calvin said.

"We all have our rough times." I gave a sigh. "Been hard on the both of you today. After you're done solving you can go."

"Here." He tried to force a smile because he was a bit intimidated by me.

After I checked his work, I told him he could go now so he just said goodbye and left.

Thinking about Finn made me want to get mad at almost everyone or everything. I turned off the air conditioner and went out of the room. Immediately, I tried to find Bradley so he could call the driver for me because I wanted to go home.

"Oh is Bradley here?" I asked one of the maids who was cleaning the table.

"Oh wait I'll call him." She obediently went off to find Bradley as I waited in the living room.

Suddenly, a voice startled me. "I'll call you back."

I looked behind to see Connor with a new haircut, his brown hair had a front flip and he was wearing a red cap and the ultimate fuckboy outfit. A blue polo shirt with a matching knee length pants with some Adidas Stan Smith.

Slowly, I stood up as I looked at him, not saying anything. Try to keep your cool Jessamine. Try to keep your cool.

Step by step, he walked forward, approaching me. His alluring green eyes darting on my very own brown eyes while he gave an arrogant smirk. "You like bad boys, right?"

I tilted my head, gave a lick and bit my lip as he looked directly at me with his serious face. Before, he was this cute guy but now, he changed his style into some bad boy but somehow it didn't match him.
