33: Two worlds

Third Person's P.O.V

Killua stepped back in his world, carrying a different view that changed everything.

His clothes reverted into his character's usual outfit...

And...

He was barely keeping his sanity knowing that he lives in a fictional fantasy, where their lives are scripted and written by one true human.

"Gon." He called for his best-friend, quailing from the insane phenomenon he just found out.

"Killua! Where have you been yesterday?!" The young male was wrapped in a dark cloak.

"W-what?... But I just disappeared for about 3 hours... And what are you wearing?"

By unveiling the truth, it caused a ghastly effect to the real and main protagonist's essence..

"I... I don't know... Looks like I'm fading." Gon brushed the cloth off, exposing his transparent right arm, including half of his torso. "M-maybe it's that mermaid's nen?..." It's as if his existence was being taken away.

"G-gon.."

The raven haired fellow gestured Killua to Tin's room.

Gon pulls the sheets that wrapped the girl's body. "She's almost invisible... What's going on? I mean the power we received must've really cursed us back." He utters, gripping the thick fabric he wore.

"....no way.. T-this.... This isn't right.. I'll get you both fixed.. Everything can revert to once it was." The silverette placed a hand over Gon's shoulder.

"Killua, you're trembling..." He looks on his friend's planted hand that slowly slipped away. "You're wearing a very pale expression and your lips quivers every time you speak a word. What happened? Where have you been?"

These questions squeezed Killua in a tight spot that he can't help but to run out of the house.

"Hey— Killua wait!"

He realised how much of a tension it was to hide the reality. "(Y/n)... She must've felt like this all the time.... but even so, she bravely faced everything for us.." Her genuine sacrifices flashed in his mind. "I'm sorry... If my character wasn't made like this, maybe I'd never turn suspicious about every single thing... We could've escaped this kind of future." Killua went deep in the island's ruins, making Gon lose sight of him.

"Please! I beg you! Bring back everything to normal!!" He screamed at the golden horizon, climbing and standing atop of the highest structure.. Daylight was just about to break from the dark clouds. It was nearly dawn.
